I use this player for CDs from 80's, 90's and Napster-era burned CD-R's and iTunes burned CD-R's from the 00's decade. Works well... CDs do not skip. Player has more than ample enough sample rate for CD playback. Plugged this unit into an old Sony stereo receiver with Pyle speakers, along with turntable and bluetooth/RCA input device. CDs sound great, highly recommended for those who still use CDs.
