Great Starter Set - Got me started in the hobby
I purchased this set several months ago but have waited till now to provide a review. Okay, so what's the lowdown? This is a good starter set. I knew nothing about leathercraft but wanted to make some leather knife sheaths as part of Christmas gifts (They were hugely appreciated). There are some items that come with the package that are simply filler items - The sandpaper, thimble and leather finger covers for instance. The stamps are good. I highly recommend purchasing a proper stamping hammer. Do not use a metal hammer to stamp - you'll damage (or break) the punch. I've ended up buying other stamps from Tandy and these are about the same. Stitching Chisels - I use these a lot and they space stitching holes very nicely. The stitching awl is my go to for hand sewing. I had used a Speedy Stitcher but found this one fits my hand better. Sadly, this set does not include burnishing tools which you'll want to polish edges if you're sewing leather together. :( Overall - I'm really pleased with this set. It has gotten me going in the sport and I'm really learning a lot. I recommend spending some time on YouTube learning leathercraft as you make stuff. Using this kit, I've made 2 knife sheaths, and 2 wet molded gun holsters and a rifle sling. (Not bad for a beginner) One thing you'll really need is a stitching pony. You can either make one yourself (like I did) or purchase one here on Amazon.

Lots of good tools here for a good price
The stamps have worked well for me, and as my skill progresses I simply buy what additional ones I need. The edges on them are crisp and the tools leave good impressions. The pricking irons have also worked well, although a larger striking surface would be nicer. However, they are sharp and punch good, straight holes. The swivel knife is as a swivel knife is. It swivels and cuts well. I did replace the blade for a smaller one. The edge bevelers work decently, but could use a longer handle. Definitely a good price though for all of this, and to get a person started working with leather.

Good tools
Good tools. I'm new to leather crafting. See my review on the Realleather Crafts Wild West Holster Kit for pics of what I've done with these tools.

Great Value, LOTS of Accessories, Highly Recommend =)
Pros: LOTS of pieces to use for various applications, sturdy metal - no flimsy plastic, comes with a carrying pouch to keep everything together, various colors of sinew included Cons: Haven't come across any cons, yet. I've been looking for a good leather working kit for some projects I've wanted to try and figured this one had enough accessories to get the job done. Leather work isn't something I've done before so I can't review the kit from the perspective of someone experienced, but as someone who's new to the craft I've found this kit to be very useful. I've only been able to use a couple of the stamp tools for some really basic work but I was able to use the forks, needles, and sinew quite a bit. Everything seems to work really well and makes piecing leather together a breeze. I decided to start by taking an old watch with a broken band and converting it into a watch cuff using some scrap leather I got off some old belts. The kit had everything I needed to sew the leather together and I used an eyelet kit for some snap buttons and eyelets to add a bit of flair. After the watch cuff, I decided to make a carrying pouch for my vape pen out of some leather from an old coat. Once again, I mostly just used the needles, forks, and sinew and was only able to use a couple of the stamp tools here and there but the end result was much better than I expected. I've found the kit to be very easy to use for what I've needed so far and still have some future projects planned for it. Overall, I highly recommend this leather working kit. The number of accessories it comes with for the price alone is totally worth it in my opinion. I'd like to get some proper leather to really put the stamp tools to the test but so far it's done well on the projects I've tried. There's lots of reviews already with pictures of the kit itself so, instead, I've included pictures of what I managed to do with it with zero leather working experience. With some practice, I'm sure I'll get much better in no time and I might come back to update my review at that point. =)

Just What I Wanted
I decided to start leather crafting again. I didn't have any tools after moving a few times. Decided on these to get a basic start. After getting these I looked them over and I like what I see. I think with proper use they should do exactly what I want to do with no problems. I read all negative reports and don't agree with their conclusions. But, I don't know the other posters circumstances or their experience at leather crafting. If there are any problems with the quality I will update. If you are on a budget and new to the hobby, these are worth the money, IMHO.

You get what you pay for. Buyer beware!
Not even good enough for a single use. Three tools broke on my first project (needle, grover and scratch awl). Cheaply made and not a quality set. Extremely disappointed and I will not purchase any other products from this manufacturer. I have not used the punch set, so I’m giving it three stars for the benefit of doubt.

Talk about value, a truly pleasant surprise.
I have to be honest, I really had low expectations of this kit when I purchased it due to the fact that the price is so low, thankfully I was pleasantly surprised upon inspection. This really is a diverse & versatile kit that feels as though it is made very well. The leather stamps are what really bring this kit above and beyond, they are super solid & a great variation of patterns are included. No regrets on this purchase!
