The light can be installed as shown (surface mount) or the outer metal ring can be removed and it can be installed in a properly-sized hole (flush mount). You would have to have a receptacle of some kind which swivels, to install this light so it would swivel. Probably not worth the effort - find a swivel light already built. **Q: How far away have you installed these for undercab lighting? My cab person is recommending every 15 in but I think it's too close. PureVue draws 4 watts at maximum brightness; so the 24W, 840240 produces enough wattage to power them. We cannot speak to other manufacturers switch products specifically, but do offer the following guidance - for optimal AC dimming performance, use a forward phase CL-style or equivalent dimmer.
