Packaging didn't have the bunny emblem. I read through the MSDS (link in description) and noted fish, minnow and algae kills for specific ingredients based on 96 hours exposure to a full 45 gallon drum of particular individual chemicals - this would be the equivalent of stepping in a full sized inground pool filled with that particular chemical and floating about for 96 hours without taking a break. It should be noted that those tests were likely performed in the past but still need to be included for the ingredient. This doesn't mean that exposure to a minute amount is problematic.

I don't know if they are tested on animals. I do know that this is a great product for washing clothes.
