Or just the Docklocks cable?** A: The cable has to be just cable on the male end to fit through hole it can't have extra thickness like most cables have on the male end. **Q: What is the diameter of the hole where the cable goes through?** A: The lock should accommodate 1/2" cable diameter. **Q: Will this work with a 2 piece adjustable paddle?** A: I lock my 2 piece adjustable paddle with this but it only secures one of the pieces. **Q: Does this work for a three piece paddle?** A: As long as the paddle shaft is a conventional diameter similar to a regular SUP paddle it should fit. It makes the lock more secure because my paddle is adjustable so it can be taken apart.
