They barely can handle cutting packing tape. They're sharp but waaaay to flimsy. That almost makes them dangerous to use. I would not cut a box with these - they're not up to the task.Edit: 1-23-18.After posting this review the seller contacted me and issued a refund. They also sent me a larger model at no cast that is functional. So although this particular smaller box cutter model is still a 1 star product in my mind - the service is 5 stars. Just buy the size up from this model and you'll be good.
