K&S makes high-quality metal items for hobby and other purposes. Their products are highly recommended. This one was no exception, and should be good for any type of hobby or other metal fabrication project.

Exactly as advertised
I purchased this for different art projects. I was pleased that it was protected in a sturdy package. The brass is malleable and work hardened just like brass should. The pieces take a great polish like a mirror. I was able to anneal the work as I was going simply by using an alcohol lamp to heat it. If you anneal, don't heat so it changes color, unless you want those effects. A few seconds on each side in the alcohol flame removes the work hardness so you can continue work. The brass pieces come without burrs. These are not mill cuts, but rather finished pieces that could be used as trim right out of the package. I have had good experiences with this company. Worth every penny.

Quality dimensionally accurate brass
Dimensionally accurate, clean brass. Edges need a little filing if you want them perfectly flat - there is a small bevel from the shear cutting. K&S never disappoints.

1 gauge thinner than supposed to be
Handy because i needed it. However. If the exact thickness matters to you, the package i got said it’s 1/2”x0.064 (16 gauge), but it is actually 0.0562 (17 gauge )

Good quality at a fair price.

True to size
The brass blanks are very true to size and work very well for straight edges for my leather carving needs.
