C-370 Transfer Tape for Vinyl Clear Lay Flat

Bottomline Up Front: If you need a good, consistent, all-purpose transfer tape, give this product a go. This has been my "Go To" transfer tape for several years now, which I use for when I make custom vinyl decals. Every roll I've ordered so far has been consistent, with what I'd consider a medium tack that works well with most applications, to include most matte laminated vinyls. I like how "clear" the tape is as well, which makes it easy to ensure you're covering your vinyl decal properly and makes it easier to apply the decal later. Other brands that are "clear" that I've tried all had a yellowish tint to it...no big deal, but still I noticed it. Also, Frisco transfer tape, each roll has been consistent. I've tried other brands that are ok, but they tended to be not as consistent as Frisco in terms of tackiness...most were way stickier than advertised. I have bought this over and over. Thick, clear, and easy to use. Great quality and great price.

This may be my new favorite transfer tape. It is thick, clear and had just the right amount of stickiness.

May 2019- Update: I learned I was cutting my decals too deep which is why they were not coming off the backing. I no longer have to remove my decals to put on Parchment paper, and the tape works great still! September 21st- Updated Review: So My last review I was having an issue with the decal sticking to the tape but I solved my problem. I transfer the decal to Parchment paper or a different backing and the problem has been solved. I think the decal just kept falling back to the original backing because that's what it was originally "Adhered" to. I haven't had the issue since transferring the decal to parchment paper and using that as a backing. The transfer tape isn't too sticky where it wont come off the decal once the decal is placed, either. Changed my 2 stars to a 5 star since I don't think it was the transfer tape that was the issue. I plan to buy another roll as now that I've solved my problem, the rest isn't that big a deal. August review: So I purchased this because of all the great reviews. The Transfer tape doesn't always stick to the Vinyl - you have to spend a few minutes really pressing on the front and the back of the decal when the tape is applied and even then, the decal may not be stuck to the tape. I have received a few complaints from clients (This was even after I took the backing of the decal off as I stuck the decal to the tape so that I knew when they peeled it, it would come off.) saying they had a hard time getting it to stick to the tape. I had put this on a few other decals as well, and then let them sit over night. The next day, they were stuck to the backing again - the transfer tape would come right up with no issues, and no decal stuck to it. Highly disappointed. I won't be purchasing this again, and I will only be using the rest of the roll for personal use.

This product performs well but not the best. There is no backing to this product, just the roll of adhesive transparent tape. I thought this would make things tricky but it actually applies to project quite smoothly. I like the minimized waste by having no backing. There is also no grid on the tape making it difficult to line up multi piece projects but not impossible. The reason I am giving it four stars and not five though is its adhesion. It is a bit lacking. I used it to transfer adhesive vinyl. While the light weight tackiness Cricut brand transfer tape is almost too much, this brand is almost not sticky enough. It has a textured matte finish which may be why it doesn't bond as tightly. Be prepared to use a straight edge scraper or boning tool to get the transfer tape to stick to your product. Haven't tired any of the free samples yet but look forward to comparing this companies grid lined transfer tape (a small sample came free with product) and comparing it to the backless gridless version.

This is absolutely the best transfer tape for all projects of any size. The Frisco transfer tape picks up Smart Vinyl with ease whereas the Cricut transfer tape fails to grab even with a ton of pressure. I use several different types of vinyl from Matte to Glitter and Frisco transfer tape has picked up all. This is easy to roll out, lays flat and the best part is that it can be reused several times! The price is affordable which I truly appreciate especially when making large menu boards. This allows me to line up my work and see where objects will lay instead of seeing grids that seldom match up. This is the only transfer tape I use now.

I don't personally own a Cricut, but I asked a friend to do a project with their device for me. After learning what materials were needed, I ordered both the colored vinyl required and this clear transfer material. I didn't necessarily pay attention to the fact that this product features the grid pattern in the film. However, when my friend put the project together, they were thrilled with the quality and the grid in this purchase. It made me look like I knew what I was doing! Apparently a super choice for you Cricut-mavens out there!

After trying 4-5 other transfer tapes and all of them either being too sticky, or not sticky enough, along with the annoyance of extra backing paper, it was great to use the Frisco and skip a few steps. Plus, their tape burnishes easily, grabs well, but also releases well.

This is the best transfer tape I’ve found yet. Works amazing for intricate cuts. Don’t use anything else.

Es klebt einfach zu stark am Transferband sodass ich die Venylfolie nirgendwo anbringen kann. Schade um das Geld! Hätte ich mal nicht experimentiert und wär noch bei meinem alten Anbieter geblieben. Sehr unzufrieden :(
