Value for money.
Does exactly what it says on the tin and for a lot less than other brands.

Bigger than expected
I have no doubt this would do the job it was bought for but when I arrived it was just a bit bigger than expected and a bit bulky for me, so it was returned and replaced with a smaller design ๐

Using this for gauging wind speeds while starting sailing races. This works as expected.

Have a Dodge truck with a 5 volt issue and it takes testing of every electrical component to find where the problem is. A power probe and this should cover all the bases. I was looking a an easy to read multimeter to beat around an engine compartment as well as a small oscilloscope to look past just basic volts, this one gives both to me for a pretty good price without giving up too much being an all in one.

5 out of 5 Stars (4.8) โญโญโญโญโญ [TL;DR] [QUALITY] (5/5) [VALUE] (5/5) [EASE OF USE] (5/5) [MET EXPECTATIONS] (4/5) [PACKAGING] (5/5) [REVIEW REMARKS] This is my first anemometer and I am really impressed thus far. The unit was $38.99 at the time of ordering and I have found value in this product. I like that it comes with everything you need to get the meter to work right out of the box, including a 9v battery. It comes with a long strap that you can use like a lanyard or wrist wrap and it reduces the chances of dropping the device. There is a tripod mount. It is on the backside at the bottom. I am not sure how this would work unless your tripod has a tiltable head on it. The unit would be parallel to the ground and the device would not likely measure the wind very accurately. The pictures on the product page would suggest a tripod mounting screw on the bottom of the device. This is not the case, although it would make better sense than where it is. This unit has an easy-to-read screen that also is backlit. The screen however needs to be flat to view best, as the screen is not very legible if viewed from an angle. There is a built-in led light on the back, which is handy if you need a flashlight and do not have a free hand. I originally ordered this to test for wind speed during storms and it is fun to see just how much wind is being generated. Aside from the curious applications, you can use this to measure HVAC, wind speed on the water while sailing, or just measure the wind speed blowing into your home through an open window. I am not 100% sure with this device is accurate. However, when it is not being moved indoors, it registers 0 (zero) which tells me it measures movement in the blades. All-in-all, I would recommend this to anyone needing to measure wind velocity, for whichever application. I am still trying to figure out how to mount to a tripod without a tilt feature. This could be just a photoshopped image of the product on the tripod and not actually mounted. If this device was USB rechargeable, it would be awesome. I am not a fan of replacing batteries all the time. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.
