KICKER 46HS10 Compact Powered 10-inch Subwoofer (Renewed)

Plus: Surprisingly powerful for its size. Adequate sound adjustability. Heavy solid build. Fits under passenger seat with some room to spare. Minus: Had to do some minor soldering to attach RCA signal wires (instructions are included). All hardware is included for installation, except an RCA connector/cable. I just used an old one I had lying around. This 46HS10 sub is installed in a Y61 Nissan Patrol, a comparable vehicle to a 100 series Landcruiser. The car already had an aftermarket 4x50Watt Rockford Fosgate amp and ditto full range speakers but my 100Watt Pioneer under seat subwoofer simply could not keep up at medium to higher level volumes. A more powerful trunk mounted sub is not an option for me so after reading a couple of reviews I gave this Kicker a try. It keeps up with rest of the installation easily and the bass is powerful enough to be felt. The Pioneer I used previously, while being a perfectly fine addition for OEM car stereos, cannot compare to this tiny monster.

30 years ago I was all into the stereo scene and built custom enclosures to hide my subs behind or under seats. Kicker is a brand I knew well and trusted. When I found this little unit, I decided I needed to give it a shot. The install was very straightforward and I got it installed on a Saturday afternoon. The most time consuming portion of the job was finding a suitable location to run a power wire through the firewall to the battery. Once that was done it was a quick job. I am amazed at the sound this little enclosure produces. It was a great addition to my factory sound system.

I have the 8 inch in another vehicle sounds pretty good but this 10 blows it away. I am amazed the bass ,and it's a solid hit, sounds like I have a big box with 2 tens in the trunk. I have this under back seat in 2024 toyota tacoma. Right in the center fits perfect. Only use the fuse holder at the battery thats provided in this kit. Using a large fuse junction will mute the power output. I found that out. The bass is sharp and punchy . I listen to rock so this works great .

First one stopped working after 6 months. Received a replacement after paying $25 to return item. Replacement doesn’t work either. Some type of short in the wiring harness. Contacted seller who basically told me to pound sand. First replacement beyond 90 days was a courtesy to me according to them and I can take the faulty replacement they sent to get it repaired somewhere of my choosing and pay for it myself.

I installed the Kicker HS10 in my 2024 GMC Sierra and it’s a very nice addition. This was my first time doing an install like this but after a few YouTube videos I was confident. This speaker sounds good. And I didn’t have to give up any of my factory accessories. Delivery was fast, it came a day early on a Sunday. I would definitely recommend adding the LC1 sound control if you are connecting to a factory system, it allows the amp to turn off automatically. I gave 5 stars Let’s hope I feel the same way a year from now.

So, if you you are looking for a self contained unit and not looking to be heard a block away, this is a great unit. I wanted some bottom in my mustang convertible (did not want to give up trunk space) and this is simply a great sounding bass unit, complementing by factory premium system. I did not want to do modifications to the car and feed input from the rear speakers. Very satisfied with the resulting sound which you can really feel. I placed it behind the drivers seat as didn't want to put it under the seat as my concern is that all amplifiers tend to overheat and under the seat was tight.

Decent speaker. Not overly impressed with the performance. It seems to distort at rather early as the volume increases. It rattles inside its own box as well. However, at low gain levels it works at boosting the factory stereo base a bit. For the price I would say it’s a fair deal.

LLego bien, es reacondicionado de fabrica, en la caja lo dice claramente, tenia mis dudas sobre qué tan bueno podría haber quedado y simplemente su sonido es impresionante, esta emparejado con 4 Focal Access 165 y 130 + 2 DSP Taramps y 1 Amp Alpine. Lo instale bajo el asiento del copiloto pero al arnés del asiento, no al suelo del auto y disparando hacia abajo ni se ve, pero el bajo que da es impresionante ya había leído que los buenos Subs son de 10¨para arriba y es cierto, tenia conectado un Kenwood de 8¨ y ahora ni se nota, ya estoy pensando en sustituirlo por otro de estos. No es el Sub que retumba el auto pero si da un buen bajo cuando lo ecualizas
