These drip platters are just what I need underneath planters to protect my wooden floors. There is a disturbing trend where ceramic planters have a built in drip tray fused to the pot -- unfortunately, these are just for show and moisture seeps through the unglazed bottoms to damage tabletops and wood floors. These decorative plastic saucers are the perfect solution to the problem! Made from a sturdy plastic, they are attractive enough with the metallic edging to set below planters to protect your surfaces. Be sure to add about 2.5-3 inches to the bottom of your pot, as there is a bit of a slope before you get to the flat bottom of the saucer. Some sizes have a diagram that clearly indicate the diameter of the bottom and other sizes do not. I ordered several sizes in silver and the 11 inch was perfect for my 9 inch pot and to nestle around the outside of a smaller ceramic pot-fused-to-drippan combos.

These look great with a gold pot I have and with black pots. They do not look plastic under my pots. Great price an look!

Use as humidity tray filled with pebbles. Not as sturdy as I thought it would but acceptable. I would call these heavy duty though :(

Very sturdy and attractive

It doesn't really mention this in a very visible place, but this product is made of plastic. It looks fine and works well, but it definitely doesn't feel as "sturdy" as it claims, since it's made of plastic. It works for what it's made for, but for the price, I wish it was made out of a better material.

I used them with copper planters for inside plants to protect floors from overwatering
