Soak the seeds for a few hours first, then plant with several feet of space between them beside a trellis. As they grow, prune off lower leaves, and water at the base in the morning to avoid powdery mildew. With six or eight plants, I had a new melon every day for quite a while. For anyone unfamiliar with this type of melon, these are less sweet than a cantaloupe. If picked before they're too ripe, the seeds are not too large or hard and can be eaten along with the sweet material around them. Peel them like a cucumber. Review: Good quality Seeds - My lady is from Korean and has been living in American for a couple of decades, and this is one several things that she misses and they are not really available locally where we live, although the Asian markets will carry them from time to time but the quality is usually lacking. Over the years we have tried to cultivate Korean Melons a few times to very disappointing results, of maybe one or two melons and they never really got very big. This year after giving up for even trying for four or five years I decided to give it another try and ordered some of these seeds. I started four of them inside in March and they all germinated and grew quite well under grow-lights. At the end of April I moved them outside and tragedy struck.. a rabbit decided to eat one of the plants leaving three to try and make their way. They actually stalled for a week or so after the shock of transplanting, and then they took off. I ended up vertically trellising them up the side of my house, most of the plants grew 6' - 8' vines and started producing good sized fruit along them. I do have supplemental watering for the plants that makes sure they are watered every 2 - 3 days instead of only relying on rain. We ended up getting about 5 melons per plant, and they are starting to slow down as we near the end of August (no more flowers showing up). I still have several more melons which are formed and they are almost ready to start turning still on the vine. The two packs come with plenty of seeds, which cover us for a few more years, and they arrived in good shape. After the success of this year will be adding more of them to the garden going forward. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Completely Refunded My Money *by L***U on December 23, 2013* The post office called this a weird pkg and found the correct address in the computer, but the tracking label has the wrong address in there somewhere because it kept coming up with the wrong zip code. Still, the other zip code was local, and the post offices exchange pkgs manually, in spite of the incorrect zip, all the time. But this pkg just kept getting sent back instead of going thru that process and it finally just never arrived to this day. The first time I contacted this company, no response.
