Keep them clean and safe! *by V***J on Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2019* These are pretty good at getting cat food out of cans. I'm not sure how, but I'd like to see these modified to allow users to scrape every last bit out. (The cat food cans I use have little ridges that trap bits of food in them. If I were to attempt to clean the cans to recycle them, it would be very difficult to get it all out.) I assume that's why one edge of the scoop is longer than the other, but it's not narrow enough to get it all out.Prior to buying these, I was using mini spatulas. Those spatulas got all cut up on the metal edges of the cans, sometimes even depositing tiny pieces of silicone into their food. And so, I finally found these. If you feed your cats a wet food diet and have to give less than an entire can at a time, these are a necessity.I recommend these, just make sure you clean them before each use (which is a bit challenging but use a sponge or a dish brush and it's not that hard) and don't drop or microwave these. They are made of melamine and contain toxic chemicals that are stable when used properly. If you do drop one, throw it away. Don't try to glue it back together and then continue to use it on your pet's food! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ well made but for wet food, is not easy to use *by K***. on Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2021* This does seem to be for left handed folks. When I tried to use to scoop wet food from can, it was "opposite" of what I needed, to scoop with the dipping part of the spoon. Also, as the spoon part is deeper than most, it doesn't "let go" of the wet food and is difficult to simply rinse off. A more shallow spoon of even dimensions would have worked better. I did like the longer handle, the colors available, and the sharp point on the end of the handle which would be good to separate shredded or chunky food. First impression: smaller than I expected. After using, I do wish they were larger. That being said, the spoons do exactly what they are supposed to do, and, they do it well. My cat food comes in 3-1/2 ounce cans. These spoons fit the interior edges of the can very well. They serve to portion out the food. They are sturdy and colorful. I’m still adjusting to the ergonomic handle—-it just doesn’t come easily for me. They will do the job4 Stars only because of the size issue.
