Sistema 881420 Juice Jug, Plastic, 2 liters, Clear

I have been using the product for years, it was time to update to a new one

My use: Iced tea from powdered Crystal Light peach flavor powder mix. My older Sistema is used for ice coffee. I brew my own coffee, let it cool, and then fill the jug for the fridge. Fantastic jug. 1. The rectangular shape maximizes use of space in the fridge. 2. The side clips and closable spout make it incredibly leak proof if you drop it on the floor. 3. So easy to clean. Caveat: Price... Due to its travel from overseas, it is expensive. I have an older (4 yrs. old) Sistema jug that was cheaper as it was bought locally. However, I will only buy Sistema now as it beats the other jugs by far.

The locking lid and spout are different from pitcher I previously purchased. Haven't used it yet, hope it works as well.

I gave it 4 stars only because the first delivered item was not wrapped well for shipping, and it came cracked. So I was inconvenienced somewhat with a return, but an Amazon return at Staples is a very smooth process. I received the second delivery and no problem. I love this pitcher for making sun tea in the summer. It has a nice tight-fitting lid and the spout snaps shut very securely.

Took ten years of constant daily use before I dropped and cracked my old Sistema pitcher. This one is an improvement on that one. Great pitcher!

Love it! Fits perfect in refrigerator door. Previous reviews complained of lid leaking and spout growing mold. I have not had this issue. The tab that opens the pour spout comes apart for thorough cleaning. I’ve had the smaller version of this one for years. It is like new. It does have a slightly longer spout which I prefer but this one works fine. At first look seems expensive but is well worth it! Sturdy. I use both daily.

sistema makes excellent products. been using their food storage iitems for years. trustworthy company they stand behind all their items.

The jug itself is good, but this one arrived with broken lid clip

Really good!! I was a bit hesitant to the claim that it is leak proof, so I filled it with 2 liters of water, secured the lid and shook it and turned it upside down. Not a single drop was leaking!! I will most likely buy at least one more of these. Excellent product.
