Best frisbees I’ve found for an active dog
My dog is an ACD/Border Collie mix, so he is absolutely obsessed with anything that flies or moves fast. We’ve gone through a lot of frisbees over the years, and these are the ones I keep coming back to. They fly really well once you get used to them, and they’re soft enough that I don’t worry about his teeth or mouth the way I do with harder plastic discs. They also hold up surprisingly well considering how rough he is with toys. Mine get used constantly in the yard, at parks, and near the water, and they’ve lasted much longer than most dog frisbees I’ve tried. I’ve bought several packs over the years, but honestly most of the damage has happened because my dog likes to lay down and chew on them after playing fetch. If I leave one sitting on the ground too long, he’ll eventually destroy it. That’s not really the toy’s fault though. In some ways I actually like that they’re soft and flexible enough for him to comfortably carry around and chew on a little. Another thing I appreciate is that they’re washable. After a muddy or slobbery session I can just rinse them off and they’re good to go again. For an active dog that loves chase and fetch games, these have been excellent.

Wonderful dog frizbee
Light weight, flys well. Dogs love it. Doesn’t hurt their mouth. Tough.

Great flight time
These are great frisbees for the dog. I don't know how well they will hold up over time but so far there is no damage to them. One thing I really like is that they have a long flight time. They sort of float toward the end if you throw them correctly, which gives my dog time to catch them out of the air. Picking it up off of the lawn is a humiliating experience for him, followed by the walk of shame when he returns for another throw. I also have a Kong frisbee. It's very durable but it's also very heavy and has a much more limited flight time. It seems pretty much indestructible so I leave that one in the yard for the dog man to play with.

Big help for the beginners!!!
These have been so helpful with teaching my miniature aussie how to catch a frisbee. In reality, I needed them more than she did! I'm not that great at throwing a frisbee, but these have really helped me get better. They fly straight (when thrown straight), and have a decent hang time. I like that she can pick them up easily off the ground regardless of which side it lands on. So far, they have been very durable. We play short games of tug with them to keep her interested, and there haven't been any rips. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price. These are great frisbees, but I can't imagine the production cost of them is that high. However, the price isn't so high that I wouldn't purchase them again.

Very durable and amazingly fun
My dog loves frisbees, but now this is the only one I’ll ever buy again! If you’ve ever had a dog frisbees you know that some dogs can eat/chew-up a frisbee in literally minutes. Not this one, no way! I’ve bought several of these because I keep one in my truck, one on my boat, one for the backyard, and one just for the dog-park (can you say “community drool”? I take these everywhere (see videos) and every single dog that gets ahold of it loves it. As a matter of fact the only problem I’ve ever had with it is when I take my dog to the dog park all the other dogs fight over this frisbee. As far as quality it’s tough as nails, sure if my dog sat and gnawed on it for hours he might eventually tear it up but it would take a very long time and I would see him chewing it up. My dog and all the other dogs at the dog park will gnaw and chew on it and not one dog (from labs to retrievers to pitbulls to Rottweilers to even a malinois, a German Shepard and a massive cane corso to a little cur of a dog) not one has torn it up, and they ALL play tug of war with it. It’s great for teaching young and old dogs how to catch because it is soft enough not to bounce out of their mouth and they can catch it with a good grip. The best thing ever: it’s malleable and can be easily put back into a round shape even after heavy pulling. It floats on the water perfectly and will not sink no matter how wet with water (or drool!). On top of that it’s very light yet is easy to throw in even heavy wind, and as a frisbee guy for decades when I say it throws good, it’s pretty darn accurate whether wet or dry. Personally I have found I like the pink one the best (not the pink swirly one, even though it’s fine I like the black edging on the others as they seem tougher and more solid for throwing). The solid pink ones are easier to see in water, grass, dirt, etc. I have bought 5 of these so far, not because they get trashed or fall apart, but like I said it’s because I have one for every purpose. Highly recommend the solid pink as best color wise.

Perfect dog frisbee disc
Well, my black lab actually lives for chasing this every single day. I come home from work. He finds one drags it to my feet and jumps around for a while until I throw it too. This has been going on for years. They’re very durable, but what I really like is that they fly really straight and far if you want sometimes I get carried away and he’ll get tired out, but it makes him do all sorts of weird flips and that’s very cute. He loves them and we love them. We must’ve ordered five different times at least because he tends to lose them sometimes, but they never seem to wear out.

Flies great but easily destroyed
I was looking for throw toys that would stay on top of 20" of fluffy snow when they landed (rather than disappearing into it and getting lost). Both do that. For my one fast and athletic pup who never tires of leaping into the air to catch whatever I throw, the Hyper Pet Flopper 9" flying disc is perfect. It goes an impressive distance and stays aloft longer than most throw toys so he has time to get under it and catch it in the air. Three days of playing with it and it just has one set of teeth marks in the fabric from his picking it up. And, unlike plastic frisbees, it doesn't hurt his mouth or gums when he catches it. The reason I'm giving this three stars is because my other dog - a lab who lightly chews things that have any "squish" to them - managed to chew through the outer ring cover revealing the black flexible PVC tubing inside within 10 minutes on day one; this was with my closely managing her in an effort to minimize her chewing. All that to say, if you've got a dog who is more interested in catching than chewing, this throw toy is great for them. If you're dog is likely to chew, take a pass.

My dog loves this!
Everybody at the dog park wants to know where I got this! This flies straight and true, and my Dutch Shepherd loves to snatch it out of the air. It floats for retrieval fun in the pond, and it has shown plenty of durability on land. It’s not a chew toy, so I am careful to put it away between sessions, but it has survived several canine tug-o-wars. I’m really glad I bought two, one in the car for the parks and one for fun in the backyard. Great product — I’ll be back for more!

Great for puppies and owners who can't throw frisbees
Our goldendoodle puppy was given a rope frisbee which he loved (too much) and quickly destroyed. I chose these ones based on the reviews and we are both thrilled. I can now actually throw something far enough away that the puppy has to fetch and return and we can see it if he loses track in the grass, or the snow (vs a ball). Also, when it inevitably hits him on the head (he is still working on his spacial skills, and predicting that tricky windy), it doesn't hurt as much as a hard frisbee. As a puppy, he does like to grab the soft fabric in the middle, so it might not last as long as I would like, but overall we are very happy.

Flies beautiful
Flies Beautiful nice and lightweight. Gets caught in the wind makes it unpredictable for pup...more fun keeps him on his toes. gotten lots of use. Well loved flyer still in use money well spent. It's faded and chewed Now but fabric is still holding up. Dog was able to Somehow get the outer ring support out But was able to feed it back through. The Kong red flyer has gotten lost and if we don't find it soon I'm just gonna order another 1 of these!

This is a great alternative to a hard frisbee and an untrained dog can get the hang of it easily.
The Hyper Pet Flippy Flopper has a great glide and my dog likes the feel of the fabric in his mouth.

A true and steady flyer
As described. Happily surprised at length of flight when thrown. Stays true and steady allowing my dog to catch or attempt to catch it in mid air. When she inevitably misses (she isn't as sprightly as in previous years) , the design allows her to easily pick it up first time and bring it back for more fun.
