LANG - 2018, 365 Daily Thoughts Box Calendar -"for A Dear Friend", Artwork by Lori Siebert - 2018, Daily Inspirational Quotes in Tear-Off Format, 3.4" x 3.3" x 1.6"

I discovered this calendar about 5 years ago and loved the size and wonderful quotes. I bought 4-5 for friends for Christmas for a few years. But then the quality of the paper changed (used to be high quality, shiny with nice backgrounds), and this year the backgrounds are so dark and the font so small, you can barely read the quotes. If price is the issue, the company should have raised the price rather than reducing the quality. If improvements are made next year, I would buy again, but if not I would pass.

I am giving this product a 5 star review because the fact that I do not like it is because I totally thought I had ordered the wall calendar. The little desk blocks just are too small for the note taking for appts, to do's, and reminders that I do for home and work. The sayings are not all as positive as I'd like either. Some are obviously trying too hard, while some seem more like you would find in a fortune cookie. Still, cute little thing and some people would really like it. Would fit nicely on a student desk or in a small cramped area.

I've enjoyed this calendar in past years, although I have never quite figured out how to make it stand correctly on its own and have always rigged it. This year's calendar uses a different font that is extremely hard on my older eyes, especially when trying to read the author of the quote. Had I seen the 2018 version in person, I might have passed on the purchase due to the tiny writing. I'm using a magnifier to read the daily pages, and will not purchase the 2019 version online unless I can see the print size first.

Appearted to be a second from manufacturer. Each month had a different color paper; light background paper would have been more impressive. Inconvenient so will not return! Also would by a larger size next time by different artist, as I normally do each year. Was not happy with the magnetic built in stand that was supposed to keep it erect on desk top, kept falling over!! Live and learn!!

if you don't read the description - you would not know its a super small little box calendar...wouldn't buy again.

Nice product but extremely small! I had to move it to my computer desk instead of the kitchen area that I put it's replacement in!

Smaller than I expected, but I'm thankful to have verses on my desk. And each month has a different theme. Very nice.

Cute calendar however (my own fault) I should have paid more attention to the dimensions. It’s super tiny. Also I prefer different artwork each day rather than the background pattern only changing monthly.
