I bought this for my husband after bunion surgery, as the sift shoe was unstable and the boot from the hospital too big. I measured his foot and bought a medium. It fit just right. Had enough padding, came with extras we did not need to use, and the velcro stays put. He likes the air pump because he says it helps stabilize his foot inside the boot and is comfortable. It helps him be able to walk better, and not hurt as much. A good buy.

Professional grade boot. Has very stable, non-flex rocker botton for great support. The magic is the pump. Blows up around the back of heel and around ankle to hold foot in place (by the heel) without putting pressure on toes. Air does not leak. Super strong velcro.

Very nice product. I broke the sesamoid bone in my foot. I have been wearing this boot for about 12 weeks now. I did have to add my own padded insole as there is not much padding to the inside of the boot. I also had to remove the velcro from the very first part of the boot. It wasn't wide enough to latch, but once I took that out, it was fine. I wear a size women's 6 1/2 shoe and this fits good. It has air padding that you can adjust to your comfort levels. Waiting for the insurance company to decide if you need a boot just to walk is a long and more painful wait. Just spend the money and get this so you can be comfortable. The rubber sole is effective and easy to clean.

A lifesaver! I rolled my ankle at work-- thankfully not broken, just a bad sprain. The doctor at urgent care offered me a boot at that time but I declined thinking I'd be fine with an ace wrap.... that was a mistake! Realized very quickly the next day that I needed something with more stability and padding to get around. Medical supply store wanted to charge me $384 for a similar product. Theirs *might* have been better quality(?) A and more immediate-- but I only had to wait 1 day for this to arrive and it was exactly what I needed for $40! No complaints at all. Easy fit and AMAZING how much it relieved the pain and enabled me to walk. The pain is still there but subtle/achy as opposed to strong/sharp. I take it off whenever I'm sitting for awhile and (obviously) at night... and it's working great.

This is a good quality boot for the most part but the rubber heel should go further back for safety. It helped to keep my foot stable and comfortable after breaking into a couple of months ago. It is heavy and the heel is thick. Also, once your walking, stay away from slippery surfaces because there's so much weight in heel and the rubber sole does not go far enough back to provide traction. If you step in wet or slippery surfaces, the plastic on the back of your heel may cause you to slip and fall.

I ordered the correct size, and it seemed ok for a couple days, but by day 3 it seems to be stretched out and the air bladder doesn't seem to inflate. I would return it, but I have worn it and cannot return it used even though it seems defective. Since it is so loose, my ankle is not stabilized as needed making the walking boot a useless waste of money. I shared a photo of how far I have to now pull the strap. It is almost past the point of the Velcro.

I messed up my ankle and had my old boot from last time I messed it up. It is very uncomfortable and didn’t pump up anymore. This boot is so comfortable! I am amazed at the difference. It is easy to put on and pumps up so it fits perfectly on the foot.
