Thank you kind stranger! **Q: how roomy are the pockets ?** A: Back pockets are normal size, front pockets are tiny. They are shallow and come to a point. I can barely get each of my hands into the empty left and right front pockets, so it is hard to get anything out of the pockets. I try to carry a notebook in the front left pocket and it barely fits, but then it is hard to get it back out since it fits snugly under the waistband. The notebook is 6x4.25x.75 inches. For this reason alone I will not buy any more Dickieds unless I can check the pockets beforehand. It's too bad, because the pants fit great and look sharp. **Q: How big are the cargo pockets? They are loose, which i like, but they are very long. I usually wear a 32 long, and that's what I ordered, but these things fit like a 36 long. I hike them up as far as I can and they still drag the ground. Definitely order at least 1 size shorter.
