excellent product, was inexpensive and worked very good. i had suspicions that it might case interference or might loose slightly some speed and tested the speeds directly running an ethernet cable and then with this junction box running a cable through the built in house cables with a splitter and had NO SPEED LOSS whatsoever, increased ping, or any interference or packet loss. the instructions were also good and easy to use. i also liked that that construction felt solid and not some cheap plastic.

Based on a YouTube recommendation, I got this to replace a set of "toolless" cat 7 male and female RJ45 connectors that for whatever reason were limiting my Starlink connection to around 90-100 Mbps with horrendous latency. I'm in a part of Europe where it's difficult and inconvenient to find propper/quality networking items compared to the US. Add in that if you live in an apartment in Europe with strict rules about drilling homes in the wall you have to great creative, and in my case, I needed to clip my Starlink cable to pass it through an existing power conduit. This little connector box restored my Starlink speeds to 170-230 Mbps. All you need is a basic punch down tool, and I cleaned up the longer wires with toenail clippers. Took maybe 10 minutes to wire up and worked perfectly.

Do not buy this product. It stated that any basic punch down tool can be used, which is not the case at all. The plastic is too wide causing a punch down tool not to fit. It’s also very cheap plastic. There’s plenty of other options for an ethernet junction box. Also, the manufacturers number is disconnected so you can’t even get support from them. Seriously do not buy this product.

The cord of our Starlink was cut when it caught on my daughter’s four-wheeler. Thanks to this connector and a YouTube video from J Christina, I was able to repair the wire. Shipping took a bit longer than expected, but it beat the wait time of 6-8 weeks for a new Starlink dish to arrive. The product was a solid fix and pretty easy to use. No complaints. It comes with the little copper foil and mini-zip tie, so you don’t have to purchase a whole 66 foot roll like I did.

Phenomenal!! I’m a first timer, have done some computer hardware tinkering in the past but not wiring like this, so a few YouTube videos later I decided to give this a go. JCristina gives an EXCELLENT thorough explanation and recommended this junction box. The cable connecting the satellite to the router had been severed by our cows and it had water damage so I figured for $10 if it worked it would save $50 for a new cable. I had a very basic cable stripper/punch down tool (yellow plastic one, came with a soldering kit) and I left the wires extra long to have a better handle when getting them to line up. Followed the B wiring diagram, cut off the excess with some flush cutters. The ONLY gripe I have is the zip tie holes were slightly too snug, I almost ruined one when it got bent just as I was tightening it, but I covered everything with electrical tape and wrapped electrical tape under the box as well because even with the cable ties the wires were still too loose. Overall highly recommend!!

The tolerances are not great, and the plastic is cheap. You can reuse them after a punch down, but a normal punch down tool will cut into the plastic. It's really annoying it's built to not allow for the self-cutting. You need to use wire nipper for small gauge to cut the ends, and this is actually described in the instructions. The grounding clamp is a little loose by default (a reasonable design), but bending it to match cord thickness is annoying. This product is average. It works, but is not by any means a good deal given the quality.

It helped me extend me Starlink connection.
