Let me start with something no one writes about. UI: Power On. Hold the center button for 2 seconds and the earphones with say in a Japanese/Indian woman's voice, "power On, battery about 70%". She does not sound Chinese like the cheap Chinese headphones. Her voice volume level is not very high either. BT pairing: Turn off the headset, press and hold to center button but keep holding the same button. The headsets voice will say, Bluetooth pairing". Once connected, it will say, "Bluetooth connected". If BT disconnects, the voice says, "Bluetooth disconnected". Next track: Press and hold the + button for 2 seconds and the headset will make a cute "chime" and load the next song in the playlist of any app. I like this feature of the chime because this way I know the headset has accepted the command and loading the next track. However, holding the button for 2 second everytime you want to change songs can get annoying and painful if you want to skip a couple of songs of just skipping endlessly waiting for the right song to play. Buttons aren't very soft but do have a tactile click to ensure you feel the click when pressed. Power off: just like power on, hold the center button for 2 seconds and the headset will turn off. Volume up/down: No audible feedback, just volume increase or decrease. Status LED: Blue: when On and slow blinking when connected to bt. When in pairing mode, the same light blinks quickly in the same blue colour. Orange: while charging. Solid on. Green/off: 90% and above. Physical clues: tiny nub on the left ear plug to denote left side. Only reputed brands have it. Same tiny bump is made in the volume up button on the controller to denote volume +. Coloured Dots on the plastic controller to denotr left and right channel. Ear plugs are colour coded and fit very well in my ears. Most of the ear plugs fall out of my ears while talking. These don't. I use the smallest one. What does Sony offer? A very neat guide on how to insert the ear plugs in your ears the most comfortable way and ensure the best seal for clear audio. I've never known that you can pull you ear up from the top corner and gently place the ear plug into your ear canal. Once placed comfortably, drop the ear and let the ear canal seal in. Audio App. It's basically a music player designed to detect the sony earphones. If you use spotify you can use this app to setup an equaliser. It plays MP3 from your storage too. My phone already has a built in Equalizer. I don't use any eq because the sound stage on these is flat. So all types of audio sounds great. FAQ Is it flimsy? No, but feels like you might damage it if you're not careful. Does it really last 25hr? Yes, I've tested it sort of. And never managed to run out of battery. How much did you spend on it? 1.6k Audio lag? None. I tested it with Android TV, LG web os, Android phone, ps4 and iPad. No issues of lag or disconnection or audio drop on super quiet moments of the song. Bass? Very decent and controlled. Vocals? Very clear Treble? Sharp and crisp. Loudness? You can listen at full volume without much discomfort. But I'd suggest not to. I compared it with JBL wave tws100. The sound is very similar but a we bit less bass on flat eq. 80% Better than boat airdopes. 30% better than OnePlus bulletsZ.

I got a faulty unit and the problem with it was that, the headphone was not charging, so naturally I tried for a replacement, the replacement took 7 days and on the day of delivery amazon gives me a call at 11:07pm and the call had no one on the other side and then suddenly I get a mail that the delivery has failed and the replacement got cancelled and since then there is no answer form their customer service which is anyways useless. Overall an absolutely trash customer service and uselss product

The product is delivered at home correct time and happy ondelivery boy. Sony wi c100 h/phone small in size but sound is very clear .I like this product very much.Received two week before.so far working properly and thank you Amazon for your goodwork

It's been a year of usage but still feels new to use and no compromises from brand in quality of product in cables providing in proper length as well, button funcionality, technology and features used in this earphone was unmatched for me in neckband earphones is very easy to operate and customisable in audio from its dedicated app as a neckband earphone without Noise cancellation and I personally like Sony brand due to its quality and clarity in audio equipments in different versions and battery life comes solid for a day

Good sound, good battery, good call quality. But right speaker is dead after the warrenty expired. Lasted exactly 1 year 2 months. There is no better option than this for the price. Both Sennheiser and Sony have stopped their other BT neckband models. Will buy again just because there is nothing else better at this price range.

If you are fedup with bass heavy neckbands in the present market, this is the best neckband for you with good music clarity and right amount of bass (not too much bass). I earlier used Oppo Enco M32 which was very good with right amount of bass and good music separation and clarity. But one of its side stopped working after an year. Oppo didn't launch it's successor and M32 was also not available for sale. So with no other option I had to buy the OnePlus Z2 ANC. It's earfit wasn't good for me unlike Oppo Enco M32. It was uncomfortable in the ear wearing the Z2 ANC. Also the sound output wasn't good compared to Oppo Enco M32. OnePlus Z2 ANC had too much bass. It's music clarity and separation weren't good compared to my previous Oppo Enco M32. Now coming to this Sony neckband, though it's build quality isn't as good as Oppo or OnePlus, its build serves the purpose and it's sound output is superior than every bluetooth neckband in India right now. This Sony neckband is much better than my previous OnePlus Z2 ANC in sound clarity, music separation, sharp sounds and right amount of bass. Music clarity is also slightly better than my Oppo Enco M32. Also the ear fit is good, light weight and comfortable to wear than OnePlus Z2 ANC. The mics are good for phone calls too. Design is basic but functional. The EQs work very well and the differences can be evidently felt. The Sony app is also good and serves the purpose very well. This is the best bluetooth neckband right now when it comes to music clarity and separation. Definitely buy it if you are a listener preferring sound quality and not too much bass. You won't be disappointed with this Sony neckband. But, if you are a heavy bass lover, then this neckband isn't for you. Sony once again proves their mastery with this product. Thanks Sony.

I had a Sony WB X400 and have been using it for a few years. Also have had Boat and a few. WB X400 is class apart for it's sound quality, built quality and water resistance, magnetic in it was close to neutral in magnetic activity. This headset is 90% similar to WB X400. Three things the immediately stand out, if one is a biker and wants a small inear headset under the helmet, look no more this is it. If your house is roughly 3,000 sq feet and you leave your phone at one place, still good for calls and music over Bluetooth. It you wear it, we'll it is so light, doesn't feel like it is there around ones neck or collar. Two things, I would have wanted more, better ear cones and sound like XB400.

I reordered this item but after few days the battery discharges too fast and need to recharge and now i have two headsets of same product with one ear working and another not. the left side ear looses it's voice after 1- 1,5 years. There is no warranty for this product after 1 year and it works fine for one year and looses it's one earpiece sound. Not recommended to buy for long use. I have lost my faith on Sony now. All other brands have products cheaper than this and they also last for 2 years so what's the use of buying Sony then? 1 star for the 1 year warranty

These have always been my go to headphones. The battery lasts forever and the sound is great. I usually keep a spare on hand for when I misplace them. The last pair I had, the device itself outlived the wear and tear. The small rubber part that turns it on and off got brittle over the years and it became a pain to power on. Outside of that they still worked perfectly. Have a new pair now. Love them still.
