Roberts 2057-1 1 Gallon Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) Adhesive, for Installing Vinyl-Composition or Vinyl-Asphalt

Very messy and sticky but washes off your hands with the Fast Orange, takes it off with a little scrubbing. Seems to be working good, laying peel and stick vinyl tile and so far they are staying in place.

We used this adhesive while installing new vinyl flooring in our older homestead home, and it’s worked very well. It spread easily, gave us enough working time to position the flooring, and bonded securely once everything was in place. The flooring has stayed firmly attached with no lifting or shifting. We’d definitely use this adhesive again for future flooring projects and would recommend it to anyone installing vinyl tile.

This product is extremely difficult to work with. The consistency was so loose that getting it on the wall was almost impossible and although I am not a professional, I have been doing tiles and flooring for over 50 years. I expected the consistency to be like peanut butter and it was more like yogurt. As for adhesion, it is VERY difficult to remove once it gets on something. My application trowel and knife required soaking in acetone and cleaning with goo-b-gone to make them usable again. Product is not for the "faint hearted."

This product was left at my front door like it should be not Lord knows where thank you delivery person. This is just what I needed.

What a sticky mess this stuff made. Seemed too thin to me, but what do I know. I'm not a floor guy. It took weeks to cure, and was difficult to clean off the surfaces of the tiles. the long cure time was mostly my fault, but it still seemed like it should not have taken so long.

I got this to reinforce peel and stick vinyl tile. I admit I was a bit cautious and didn't expect much from it due to low cost. I've ended up using expensive silicone based sealants on the past. That didn't last long though and left a mess on my wood underneath that was almost impossible to remove. This stuff did the job. I don't think I will ever have to worry about my tile coming up now. It dried quicker than expected and was easy to use. I got a old paint brush and a silicone spatula from the kitchen to apply it with. A little goes a long way is what I learned. Before I finished my project I realized I could use sparse amount and only only the edges to achieve the holding power I was looking for. Good quality stuff at an amazing price

This glue was terrible I used it or tried to glue up tiles the glue was thin and sloppy. Had to use some nails as I was using them at the lake and a couple hours to nearest store. What a waste of some nice tiles.
