Where do I start? I guess I'll start with seeing that this was on sale. I've always wanted a GMT Automatic and since most offerings are out of my price range, I decided to treat myself. I was not disappointed at all. It really is beautiful, everything from the watch to the bracelet is going to get looks. Speaking of, I actually like the GMT ring: it's very easy to grab hold of and turn and looks great. There are also additional 24 hour markings on the dial for the 3rd time zone functionality. Additionally, even though the watch face is 42mm, the watch wears like a smaller one due to its lug to lug size of 46mm. I was kind of worried because I was used to a 38mm but that worry evaporated as soon as I sized the bracelet for my wrist. The Jubilee style bracelet is very comfortable and the watch is not too heavy either. Definitely a watch I could see myself wearing all day. Downsides? For me, it's that the crystal is a Hardlex mineral glass instead of Sapphire. I don't know about it's long term durability so hopefully it will be okay. Also, even though it has an exhibition case back, the movement just isn't stylish enough in my opinion. But that feels like nitpicking due to the price point. It's a beautiful blue Seiko GMT Automatic and it looks like a $1000 watch. If you're on the fence, get it. Edit: If you're like me and worried about the Hardlex crystal, there are aftermarket Sapphire crystals that you can buy. I got one from CrystalTimes for about $40 as a spare in case the crystal gets too dinged up.

Great watch time keeping could be a little better, but excellent value great looking watch

This is my first automatic watch and I’ve had it about a year. It’s a good size, and I love the looks of the watch. I took it to a local jeweler to get it sized, which ran about $20. I did manage to get a small scratch on the crystal. It’s hardly noticeable and, although I try to be careful with it, I do wear the watch a lot and so it’s subject to normal wear and tear.

Very nice automatic watch from Seiko. Band and clasp is well made. Watch movement is very good. I like the colors. The blue pirtion of the bezel looks dark in low light conditions, but in the sun it pops bright blue. My only complaint is the bezel turns rather easily. It doesnt click and have much resistance to accidental turning. Other than that, this is my new daily and would buy again.

Quality and color scheme are just beautiful. I bought blue and bezel’s color are top half black and bottom half blue. It’s not clicky bezel, but it has very good resistance so I’m not worrying about bezel moving itself. I was skeptical how $400 watch can be compare to Rolex (Sea dweller) and Omega (Sea Master). What a surprise! Of course, you can’t compare this to those watches, but if you don’t really care for high end brand, this can be a beautiful everyday watch and still will get compliments. Weight was there, I love heavy masculine watch that has weight to it. Plus, not too many people will know and care for high end brand watches anyway. If you like a watch with some weight, this is it for you. Quality of construction is very good and couldn’t find any fault or cheapness. This is my first Seiko and it has not disappoint me yet. Only time will tell its true built quality. Only complain was packaging (not seller’s packaging-shipping box was nicely packed and sealed). Seiko box was just a cardboard and watch’s glass was not protected by clear silicon, but just foam cover. It seem like it was returned items, but who knows. I saw scratches on the glass back cover, but upon close inspection, it was covered by clear silicon protection. There was no corner tip to lift it up, so I almost return the watch….. I had to scratch with my finger nail to lift the protection off. As for wrist band, It came with many links. So if you have small or medium wrist, you might have to remove quite a bit of them. I removed 2 links each side so total of 4 links were removed. Clasp is nice and secure. In conclusion, this is a very nice watch and worth to include it with my collections.
