This is a bare-bones LP meant for studio production use, not to make a fashion statement on-stage. I understand why there was a bad review due to the damage from shipping, but that feedback should be provided about the seller, not the product. The pickups are no Classic 57s but not bad at all. Arrived with a lifting fretboard, but I don't know if it is Gibson's, or Amazon's or my international shipper's (LBC Shipping Cart) fault. Ordered Titebond and fixed it myself. Contrary to others' experience, the tuners held tune just fine, but feels flimsy (upgraded mine with Grovers). I had no problem with lowering action as well, pots are Korean-made as reported by others, but they are smooth and fine - no need to upgrade. Love the feel of the neck.
