Works great for my need
I use use this to keep the bed extender in my truck bed locked down to prevent theft, nobody has stolen it so it works as a visual and actual theft deterrent. Seems to be weatherproof so far. No material degradation in this long hot summer. Key barrel has a weather cover and that a very nice feature for rain and car washes.

Cheap, Solid, Key form factor, Simple. Perfect 5/5.
1. Cheap - enough to buy two - one for a friend. Perfect 5/5 2. Solid - Really hard to clip, steel cable - good luck snipping or cutting. Would take large bolt cutter. Perfect 5/5 3. Key form factor. Fast 3 second lock or unlock. Coils for easy tow or pack it up. Long when uncoil to lock how you want. Perfect 5/5 4. Simple. Unlock a combination lock which is slow and also flawed prone to bricking when resetting the code, this is two key, could leave them in different places and since you have two, easy immediate use with no training or imperfect instructions. Perfect 5/5 Great, affordable product overall. Hard to ever be dissatisfied with these.

This has been upgraded.
I've had a very similar lock cable to this for years. But it did not have the little red sliding cover to protect the lock from dirt and rain. I'm not a locksmith, but I've always assumed that locks with these two-sided keys would be harder to pick. I don't know for sure though.

this lock is cheap and nasty and is really stiff to actually use. It is a waste of money and i would recommend against buying it
