Harry Potter Marauder's Map Christmas Ornament

Super cute! Was on clearance so decided to pick it up. Nice quality and makes a good addition to our other hallmark/Harry Potter ornaments.

A hallmark ornament is always well crafted and beautiful. That I could find an out of store ornament at a reasonable price is the wonder of Amazon. I bought for my daughter whose tree is a fun medley of science fiction and fantasy images topped with an image of Angel from Buffy hallowed out to fit on top of a tree.

Purchased for my wife as a Christmas gift because our entire tree and den is HP related. She loved it. It’s small and not too heavy for the branches. High quality ornament for sure. Has great detail carved and written on it and is just over fun. Already had someone comment on it on the tree.

Really nice quality, love the design and the text. I actually have it hung on my bookshelf to have it on display all year instead of just the holidays. A cute piece for any Potter fan.

Despite requiring actual magic to open, as this is a solid cast piece and does not unfold, this works well as a Christmas ornament for a Harry Potter fan, particularly one who has read at least through the third book. The detailing is sharp, the finish looks good, and it matches the product images online. The ornament feels solid and has noticeable weight to it. If you are hanging this on a real tree, it is best placed far enough back on a branch to prevent the tip from dipping downward. That weight does come with a bit of reassurance in terms of durability. It survived a drop of roughly three feet onto hardwood flooring when an excited child tried to place it on the tree a little too close to the branch edge. As a relatively inexpensive keepsake for holiday decoration, this holds up well in both appearance and construction. If you or the recipient is a fan of the Marauder’s Map, it delivers exactly what it promises and should not disappoint.
