Animals are bigger than the trees

Excellent kit, very complete for doing projects and activities with your children. It includes many types of trees, all of good quality, and many animals. I highly recommend it.

The models worked great for my daughter’s class project. We superglued them to the box. *we used some animals, rocks, and grass from home*

Description is only partially accurate with respect to this being HO scale. The vegetation is, but the animals definitely ARE NOT. A 2" high bunny is 14.5ft high in HO scale.

Love the variety of trees and the three edge rows included in the set. I am not a model train expert and did not expect the trees just having a pointed bottom that needs to be stuck into something that is not included. There are no tree bases included, so you need to have a Styrofoam board or something to stick them in for them to stand up. Not taking a star off for that since that may be my fault for not knowing. One star lost, though, for the scale of the animals. The rabbit is as big as a tree, and the deer... well... Godzilla! Ha ha! The animals will go to the Goodwill or be used for something else. They do not fit in this forest unless you put the trees back a few feet and pretend the animals are huge because they are closer to the viewer.

These are perfect from the train project my husband is working on.

Wie ich auf den Produktbildern schon gesehen hatte eignen sich natürlich nur die Bäume für eine H0 Modellbahn, diese sind erstaunlich gelungen und wirken recht realistisch. Ähnlich wie bei Stecktannen muß man Löcher bohren damit sie stehen bleiben, denn sie haben keinen Wurzelfuß. Daß von der Beflockung immer wieder mal etwas abfällt, gerade auch durch den Transport, ist ganz normal und nicht mehr als bei den bekannten Markenherstellern. Man könnte nochmal mit etwas Fixierspray drüber gehen, aber es ist jetzt nicht so, daß die Bäume kahle Stellen haben oder in absehbarer Zeit bekommen werden. Die Tiere sind ebenfalls sehr nah am Vorbild gemacht und machen sich gut in der Vitrine neben meinen Schleich-Tieren. Man muß schon genau hinsehen, um leichte Unterschiede in der Qualität zu erkennen. Ich gebe die volle Punktzahl, obwohl der Hirsch etwas krumme Beine hat und nicht von allein stehen bleibt, aber den klebe ich sowieso in ein Diorama. Für so einen niedrigen Kaufpreis habe ich absolute Perfektion gar nicht erwartet, meine Erwartungen wurden aber weit übertroffen.

My daughter was very poorly so had very little time to complete her school project cheated and brought theses and made the best we could out of a few days, brilliant product did what we needed them for we did cut some bits down that was easy enough without losing the strength. Definitely recommend
