Comes packaged tightly so no air can get in. You can tell the freshness when you open the package. My guinea pigs love the taste and I'm sure it's healthy because it is a vibrant green color. Every package is consistently fresh, green and great quality. The pieces are long but that's fine. The piggies don't mind. I would buy more if it weren't this pricey, but I understand I'm paying for a higher quality hay. The company sends a little sample of treats with every purchase which my piggies love and that I truly appreciate. I would buy this ALL THE TIME, if I could afford it. Thank you for such a well-made product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great product for rabbits and allergic humans alike! *by on Reviewed in the United States September 9, 2026* Our rabbit Toastie loves this hay, and my daughter who's allergic to hay can now enjoy being with Toastie. Very clean, no dust. ### ⭐ Not Fresh. Grown in Asia. *by on Reviewed in the United States November 1, 2024* My rabbit liked the first bag, so I set up a subscription. The 2nd shipment was bad. It smelled bad. It looked bad. The bunny refused to eat it. I did some research. This “fresh” hay is grown in China. By the time it reaches my bunny in North America, it IS NOT FRESH anymore. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ohcool Timothy Hay 2.2LBS - Premium Hay for Rabbits Tortoise Guinea Pig Chinchilla - Dust Free Natural Fresh Hay (1.1 lbs, 2 Pack) - Ohcool Timothy Hay 1.1LB - Dust Free Natural Green Fresh Food Hay for Rabbits Tortoise Guinea Pig Chinchilla - Ohcool Timothy Hay Cubes 6oz -100% Natural Timothy Hay Made for Rabbits Sulcata Tortoise Guinea Pig, 6 oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.it/products/450733378-timothy-hay-2-2lbs-small-pet-feed](https://www.desertcart.it/products/450733378-timothy-hay-2-2lbs-small-pet-feed) --- *Product available on Desertcart Italy* *Store origin: IT* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
