Picked this up to use as a base for choji oil (machine oil + clove oil for rust prevention). I don't think the bottle tip has a good design -- it never fully seals, even with the provided cap. I've DIYed a solution using some hot glue and a thick pin, but I still make sure the bottle stays upright or it leaks. Otherwise, the oil itself is great for keeping my Serger and Brother machine running smoothly. As it comes, the oil is odorless and clear. This listing had a great quantity for money and the long tip is useful to reach certain gear points. After adding a few drops of clove oil, I use this as a rust prevention oil for my swords and knives. Still works great on my sewing machine.

This is good oil for your machine. The smell is not bad. It’s easy to use and it has worked out great in my sewing.

This is your standard sewing machine oil. Only commits that it leaked a few dropout in shipping. Luckily the items that were in the package with them were ok. Amazon should probably put this in a small bag to avoid damaging other items. In summary I will buy again but make sure nothing else is delivered that day.

This is miracle oil. I used it to restore a vintage Adler treadle sewing machine. The machine had been sitting for years and everything was seized. I oiled every single part on it from top to bottom. The zoom extender spout is perfect for vintage machines because you can stick that skinny spout in the oiling holes and get it right to the source. I noticed it removed some light rust and cleaned the machine when I used a little on a cotton rag and used circular motions on the sewing machine itself. I shined it right up. After oiling every nook and cranny I applied a heat gun. Once the machine was nicely oiled up and warmed up it finally broke free and runs smoothly. The heat did make the oil run a little bit it cleaned up well with a paper towel. I leave a few paper towels in the bottom of the sewing cabinet so any oil dripping from the bottom of the machine will be caught on the towel. Great oil. Easy to use. Good size bottle because a little goes a long way.

If cap pops off with oil still in tube, it leaks out. Otherwise great.

Good and necessary

Bought this for my Brother PR680w (multi needle) machine because it's difficult to reach the bobbin area. I like the handy small spout because it gets into those hard to reach places.

My neighbor was given an old Singer that hadn't been oiled for years so you could hear the motor struggling. This came within a few days, delivered protected and wrapped, with no leaking. The oil is top quality thin clear oil. The long adjustable spout means no spilling, so it's worth the price and can be refilled from less expensive refill bottles. The machine runs like a dream now.
