VERY very sturdy.
The protective shell is at least 3 times thicker than the regular silicone covers. These have been bought for a brother in a nursing home. He has dementia but still loves reading. I found it easy to remove unwanted clutter to make operation understandable for him. Very pleased. Thank you.
