Knife arrived in good condition. No worries with blade wiggling or lock function. After reading some other reviews I was concerned about the quality of this model. However upon close scrutiny I found zero flaws. Of concern for me is the "PIVOT RIVET" I will be keeping a close eye on it. Seems like a Chicago screw like that on my other Buck slim 110 (with the harder steel S35) is a better design choice. I bought this one because of my preference for the 420HC heat treated steel. It is a very good working steel that holds an edge for a good many uses and is easily sharpened quickly. Overall weight and balance, grip ergonomics are excellent. This is a good choice for an everyday carry knife and the price is very reasonable. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.

I have the Buck 110 light, in blak plastic. The first one to come out several years ago. This 110 Folding Hunter slim is just that; more slim. It is lighter than the 110 Light and not as bulky. There is not much noticeable differance other that the pocket clip and I really like that. Same sharp blade, very easy to deploy and rugged just like the Light. I really like both knives but I think I will be carrying the new knife as an EDC. I ordered it in red because thatg is the colors of my favorite college football team. The scales are slightly thinner, thus, the lighter weight. Th carry clip seems strong and is very wide and much shorter than most clips. I see this as a plus because is seems to make the clip stronger; it is also deep cary. I like everything about his Buck KNife. It is light, strong, love the color and the deep carry clip. Over all I have to give it an "A+" for everything. I highly recommend it.
