Some nice drill bits, I was drilling bolts out of a cast iron motor block that sheared off from the starter. These got the job done after ruining about 30 other bits.

I bought these to drill four 1/4" holes in a tight space with a 90 degree drill adapter. It did the job nicely. I broke a cheaper, lower quality bit before ordering these. It got caught in the hard steel and snapped. Unfortunately I had the same issue with the 1/4" bit in this set, but it only bent slightly. Now it wobbles a little, but still works. I just wish I could buy the 1/4" bit by itself again so I don't have a wobbling bit.

A must have especially for tight areas. I had to do out a bolt that broke off when replacing a thermostat. This thing cut thru like butter. Make sure tonuse steady pressure and a drill set on slow speed so it can grip and you will be thru in no time. Definitely recommend.

They worked very well going through metal I used them too drill through a metal band that goes around a wine barrel

I’d give 4.5 the 1/4 but somewhat chipped but still was super sharp , Amazon did a fast replacement set Tested on grade 8 bolts Will be using these to drill out LS and Hemi exhaust bolts that are broke off in block and shouldn’t have issues with right angle drill and a good center punch Tool less then 10 minutes to get to bottom of head but found going slow is better and they don’t get hot either

Bought this kit to remove hardened exhaust bolts. Two of the bits snapped within minutes (drilling slowly, squarely, with minimum pressure, using cutting fluid). I was able to drill pilot holes using carbide bits from a different vendor, with no issues. The smaller bits in this set seem exceptionally brittle. The larger bits in this set refuse to cut anything at all, after slowly grinding away for several minutes and making zero progress I gave up on these and was able to cut through using cheap carbide jobber bits without issue. Nice packaging, but look elsewhere if you actually need to drill hardened steel.

Excellent drill set 💯🤟had to drill out some grade 8 hardware motor mount bolts for a zero turn mower broken/cross threaded mounting bolts...did not want to remove motor...one short bit @ Lowes will cost you $20+...these bits ate through those bolts like a hot knife through 🧈 butter.. excellent quality/value..bits still sharp as can be.

Bits are a good, however the two smaller broke pretty easily when I was attempting to drill out a bolt. They started working well, but both broke shortly after using. The three larger were good bits and did not break. The set is small which makes it great for getting into small areas
