How long will fig jam last after opening?

I put it in the refrigerator after opening and it has lasted as long as it took to use it up which is at least 2-4 weeks. I will add that this is the best I've had.

I just received the fig spread and it came damaged. The lid is bent and the product is leaking Amazon is says is unable to return???

It would be best to purchase this product from a brick and motor store.
