However, when I put my hair up in a ponytail. I usually have to gel all around my entire head so I don’t have flyaways everywhere. I gel the top and the sides and the bottom. That is too much surface area for the small wand and would take forever. I usually use this just when I wear my hair down and I only need to do my part line. It is perfect for that. It was really easy to open and use operate similar to mascara just dip it and comb the flyways down. The state of really good job it combed all the flyaways down and had them stay. The texture is fine, it’s a little sticky, and it does make the hair slightly hard like if you have a little bit of gel or hairspray, but far less than when using actual gel or hairspray.
