About 1/4" thick, I had the space on a sliding pocket door to accommodate them on both sides. Works well, looks very nice, modern.

Good Option w/ Screws
We ordered this and the Morobor self stick sliding door pull. We used the self-stick; however, if you require using screws then these are good quality also. Same gold brush finished, same size, and quality. Just requires screws to place on rather than the adhesive.

Pristine machining and finish
Closer to satin nickel than to brushed stainless steel, they blend in without looking cheap. I use these on sliding doors, and I don't want fingers getting caught (children and guests alike).
