Universal Antenna Mounting Pole for Weather Station, 1.25 x 33.25 in J-Pole

Works great on my steel walled pole barn garage. Davis weather station mounted on top. Very good construction. Expect to last decades.

I bought this to hold a weather station in my garden and it works perfectly for it! Highly recommend it for that kind of application. It's strong and well built, easy to assy, and easy to mount.

Very easy install. Great size for outdoor WiFi setup. The connection of the pole to the anchor plate can be better. Still a little loose even after you tighten it down.

Works great for my Ambient weather station. Gets it up out of the way. Lots of good mounting options and good hardware. I gave it a four because when you tighten the bolts it's still tends to settle just a little bit, which doesn't make it perfectly vertical.

Easy installation. Very sturdy. Perfect for my weather station.

The bracket works great. Unfortunately the weather station I bought to mount on it is a piece of crap. Stay away from the Sainlogic SA8. The quality is so bad that Amazon won’t even let you do a review on it. I would think that a company like Amazon would not sell a product that has so many bad reviews.From the clock running too fast ( gains 20 minutes a day, wind speed and outside temp are inaccurate. I don’t know if the rain gauge is accurate or not since it hasn’t rained here since being installed. They have a help line but all you get is a recording asking for your e-mail but never get a response. I have a 1 year warranty on it but as I said I can’t get a response. Amazon will not take it back because I bought it in October for a Christmas gift and it was more than 30 days after purchase so basically Sainlogic is a scam .

I had a few problems with this antenna pole. 1) I mounted the bracket first because it was easier to do that and then attach the pole than it was to hold the whole assembly in place while I mounted it. I was careful to make the bracket perfectly level so the pole would be straight up and down. But when I bolted the pole to the bracket, it was far enough off I needed to re-do the bracket - unlevel - so the pole would be vertically level. 2) I tightened the bolts connecting the pole to the bracket as tight as I dared, but it still wiggles a little. And 3) I needed to ground the pole, but a 1-1/4" grounding clamp would not grip it tightly enough. The pole is just a hair under 1-1/4". I tried two different 1-1/4" clamps and had the same problem with both. The pole doesn't seem very strong and I'm a little concerned it won't hold up to our gusty New Mexico winds once I get my TV antenna mounted on it.

This mounting pole is very easy to assemble and use and also allows for a lot of improvising as different structures will present different obstacles. I'm very pleased with it.
