Works great. Easy to use, accurate measurements and the retraction is solid, while not snappy, if that makes sense, to the point that it causes cuts in my fingers. Very easy to use.

I recently got into 3D printing, where there's a regular need to measure in mm. But my brain still works in inches and fractions when I'm hanging a picture frame etc. So I found myself looking for a quality measuring tape with both metric and imperial that was a) small enough to store in my tools & accessories drawer, but b) not so small that I can't easily read the tape. And this checks all my boxes -- it feels solid and sturdy (not cheap/sloppy), and I've measured dozens of items without having trouble reading the tape. Looks sleek too. Plus I really like the feature that it doesn't auto-retract -- pull the tape out and it stays there (no need to push anything to prevent retraction), and then it retracts nice and snappy when you press the button.

This tape measure is great. Very smooth action and convenient for quick measuring. I'm never worried about it snapping shut on me with the locking mechanism. I use mine for tabletop wargaming, and it's great for the application. It's bigger than is necessary for the games I play, but it's no real issue.

I've gotten so many compliments when using this tape measure, oddly. Everyone thought it looked cool. Has inches and cm on it, which is all I need. Tip started bending over time. Otherwise it's great and simple to use. I'd probably buy this again if it breaks.

This ruler is very nice for indoor use. Personally, I would not use it as my go-to ruler in the garage, in my tool chest or in my toolbox. (It's harder plastic, the tape lock release looks vulnerable to heavy-duty use, and the tape itself is a bit thin. ) I bought it for my desk drawer. As such, it is the nicest of the past 2 I've had. It also has another feature I really like. The tape locking mechanism is "always on". It does not really lock, as the mechanism does not flatten the upward curve of the tape down as some rulers do. It just always keeps pressure on until you disengage the release mechanism. When you pull out the tape there is a somewhat gentle-firm pressure continuously on the tape. When you stop pulling, the tape stays put.

Very handy little tape. Its sleek and works well for indoor projects. I dont think it would hold up well to hard use.
