A: We had an HDMI  monitor. This is sort of a universal interface. Bought A hyperdrive 9 port interface box at bestbuy for $105.00 Everything worked immediately. No problems.

**Q: Does this come with dvd player?**
A: You can buy DVD or BluRay (backwards compatible with DVD) players separately and attach then with a USB cord. Most modern laptops aren't going to have a DVD player because they add a lot of bulk to the device and very few people use DVDs anymore.
