TEMLOCK Thermostatic Mixing Valve has an adjustable temperature control cartridge and an all lead-free brass construction. It uses a German-made wax-based thermostatic engine and features rough-in 3/4-inch union sweat fittings, and hot and cold check valves that prevent possible back flow on water supply inlets. TEMLOCK Thermostatic Mixing Valve is factory preset at 130 Degree Fahrenheit, and is adjustable from 100 Degree to 140 Degree. The operating water pressure range is 30-145 psi. The existing mixing valve on my water heater failed, and no stores in the greater Seattle Area carried one (quick aside-- are you kidding me?). Ordered this on next-day delivery after worrying if it'd fit, but it was a 1:1 match. Slotted in perfectly. Pain to install, but the blame for that really falls on the plumber who set up my water heater, not on the manufacturer.
