Very great product

Overall I really like this shredder. It is extremely quiet, seems well constructed, and produces very small pieces that are more than adequate for most people's purposes. It's on wheels which makes it easy to move around. It would be nice if it were a bit faster, but it's not terribly slow and I think that's a fair trade-off for the quiet operation. It would be nice if the output basket were a bit larger, but again that's a trade-off for an overall smaller unit and it's more than adequate for most uses. Perhaps the biggest shortcoming is that the CD/credit card shredder is a separate slot with much larger output strips. This is clearly shown in the pictures and I have no complaints about the accuracy of the marketing. While I understand that producing the very small output from the very quiet primary shredding slot likely precludes heavier input such as credit cars, the credit card strips are large enough that all the information written on the card including name and account numbers are still recoverable. To me those are minor complaints and overall I'm very happy with it's performance so far.

This shredder is big and even shreds credit cards and CD's!!!! It's definitely industrial strength and is great for use in my office. It's a bit bulky and takes up a good amount of space but can be stored under a desk easily.

The media could not be loaded. Needing to shred documents and on occasions plastic cards, I ordered this paper shredder.The things I Like:1.) Size. It's not a huge machine but it's about average.2.) Controls. There's one switch which you can power on/auto, off and reverse.3.) Lights. There are three, one for power, overload and overheat.4.) Plastic shredding. There's a separate slot for shredding your credit cards and your cds/dvds.The things I don't like:1.) This does not shred your plastic cards or your disks.2.) Capacity. The user manual states that the limit is 10 sheets at one time. So depending on how many pages you have it will take more time.3.) Value. I think the price is a bit high for its capabilities.I hope this helps.

This shredder works well for a typical home office. The 10 sheet capacity is a little less than my old Royal 12 sheet shredder, but it also cuts it into much finer pieces (Royal cross cut on left, this micro cut shredder on right). It is also considerably quieter when operating, but a little bit slower too to get the finer cut. However, I feel that is an acceptable trade off for security. (If you need to get rid of papers quickly, burn it!) The shredder has a separate, removable bin as well as cutting blades for credit cards and CDs. I didn't have a CD to try, but for a credit card it just cut it into a few big pieces, definitely not a shred. I used a blank sheet of paper as an example and you can see its just large strips. I ran the card through my old cross cut shredder (which can handle it) to properly dispose of it. I can understand not handling CDs, but the inability to shred credit cards at this price knocks off a star.

This is by far one of my favorite paper shredder. This one has a built-in basket to dump all paper shredded. I can shred ten papers at the time, CD, Credit cards etc. It doesn't make any loud noise when in operation. It's very convenient for my household. Plus, this unit has auto start overheating protection. It has three mode control to use it. I love that it has four wheels to move it around despite it doesn't take that much space. This is a great investment. I'm extremely satisfied.

I like the drawer on this it keeps everything contained and yet makes it easy to empty. It cuts nice and small, makes identity feel all safe and secure.

Powerful and quiet, it has a very large capacity waste basket - 4.75 gallons is a LOT of shredding! A unique feature is that the separate credit card/CD slot drops the waste into its own small basket so that the plastic waste is kept out of the paper waste container. The plastic basket is removable if you don't need to segregate the two types of waste. And the waste is cross-cut chopped really finely, great for the incipient paranoids out there! All-in-all, an impressive unit, a real step up from the more usual counter-top shredders.
