Still alive after 7-8weeks?!
Great lettuce. After surviving 4 weeks in my fridge untouched (ok once I removed any bad leaves/parts), I decided to wash and dry these (post tearing them apart) and store in an airtight container in the fridge. They are still thriving (minus a few family members) which is weird tbh. Still fresh, still taste the same, still crisp? And now I’m scared of them because they’re doing better than my mental health.

I bought the Amazon Romaine Lettuce Hearts (2 pack) for £1.00 and thought they were decent for the price. The lettuce was crisp and crunchy, and it worked well in salads and sandwiches. It’s handy that it counts as 1 of your 5 a day per 80g serving. Kept in the fridge, it stayed fresh for a few days. Country of origin can vary, but that didn’t really affect the quality for me. With Prime delivery it was easy and convenient to get.
