VIVO Vertical VESA Extender Plate Bracket Kit Designed for Low VESA Pattern TV’s, Fits TV Ceiling Mounts, 2 Brackets, Black, MOUNT-AD165

PLEASED with product. UNHAPPY with instructions. Would recommend the product. INSTALLED the vertical VESA Extender Plate Bracket on a 55 inch TV that was mounted close to the ceiling in a sunroom on Sept 15, 2025 . I liked that the brackets were made from heavy, likely stronger, metal than the original mounts/brackets that came with the TV. It is likely the brackets will work for most any TV VESA mount. It is likely close to a "universal" bracket adapter. I had TROUBLE deciding how/where (how high up or down the bracket) to mount it on the TV and after measuring I had not allowed enough room/height. And when lifting the TV up to slide he VESA mount the TV was hitting the ceiling. The brackets (old with new ones attached) had to be raised several inches higher than the VESA mount on the TV mountng arm in order to slide into-and-down into its VESA mount on the mounting arm. I had not left enough room/height (needed another 1 inch so added 3) to avoid hitting the ceiling. Had to take it (the old VESA brackets with the new ones attached) off and put it back on and I added 3 inches to the height by sliding the bracket up (net effect of sliding the TV down) 3 inches- easy to do. SUPPLIES. Will note here the supplied screws/mounting kit had everything one needed and these too appear to be sturdy and high quality; the included open-end wrench was helpful but would have been better if it were a socket. Photo below of old TV to give some idea of how it is mounted. This can be a ONE PERSON INSTALL if not too high. My wife helped me take off the old and install the new; and in hindsight, it was better with two people because we had not done this is years. INSTRUCTIONS are the WEAK point. For me, the inexperienced person, just was not clear enough what to do so look at YouTube videos if you can. And, it was very fine print, maybe close to a 4 pt and should have been at least 10 point. After installing the brackets and mounting the TV the instructions made more sense (others might not have same problem, especially if you have experience).

Worked with both Samsung 77in and LG 77in TV's. Returned the Samsung and replaced it with the LG, but that's another story. Easy installation and the mounts are very sturdy. Beats having to remove the TV mount from the wall and then make more holes in the wall. Highly recommend when switching out TV's.

Great amount of height adjustment options. Looks good and works good for its intended purpose. Great value for the money. Very easy to install! Great sturdiness and all the hardware I needed!

I needed to lower my TV. Originally, I thought I needed to drill more holes into the wall to lower the bracket on the wall. Then I found this solution. It works perfectly. Now my TV is lower. The kit includes all you need to lower/raise a TV. nuts have a nylon lock on it to prevent the screw from backing out this maintains strong connection for the whole life cycle. So long as you don't tighten and loosen multiple times. Should move a TV 6 inches.

Great product works as expected

Did the job. Hardware provided, screws/hex are not the best quality, be careful, if you try to crank on it a big you might strip the head using the tool they provided. With that said, they don't need to be that tight, just hand tight and not torqued to do the job. The brace itself is good quality, just the other pieces be careful. They could be longer, youi only get about 6" if useable drop/adjustment after the 2" overlap on the 8" piece. Lastly, for the money, kind of 2x the price. I can imagine these things only cost a couple of bucks to make at most and shipping. They are making a lot of profit.

I purchased this product for my Sony Bravia 8 OLED 77-inch TV, and I’m extremely satisfied with how well it works. Definitely did the job. Worth the money. We no longer had the hardware for our original tv mount. With this product we were able to place our tv back on the old mount after some remodeling work. The fit was perfect for our 77 inch television. Hardware was included

Glad to have found this vertical extender which enabled our TV with lower VESA bracket holes to slide lower in height a bit. Not many vertical extenders are out there, so this was a great find. It was also delivered a week earlier than expected.
