I like the part at the elbow that supports your arm, plus I bought the zippered cover for the elbow part (paired with this listing) which has a Velcro strap. That addition makes it so much easier to let go of the grip so I can do something with my hands, and the crutches don’t fall over. I bought the set of two (an option when I purchased) rather than just one, and am very glad I did because I use only one inside the house but when I take my daily half hour walk outside it really is easier to walk (and less energy draining) using two. I am feeling some progress with healing with my knee because A. The crutches make it so I can continue my daily walks, and keeping moving is necessary for my type of knee joint issue, and B. This helps reduce the load on my bad knee which is also beneficial. Note: These are not the type of crutches that allow you to not put your foot on the ground at all (or maybe I’m too uncoordinated for that), but these are something you use when you want to start putting some weight on your leg/ankle/knee but need some help. These have been a remarkable game changer for me! These and glucosamine chondroitin capsules, that is!

SO MUCH BETTER THAN STANDARD CRUTCHES. Dr. gave me the Standard (under your arm )Crutches. It was very awkward, kept feeling like I was going twist slightly and fall over. No Way I'm using those Standard Uncomfortable Unsafe crutches. THESE FOREARM CRUTCHES are SAFE, EXTREMELY EASY TO USE AND A MUST HAVE !!!

I use these because I had a fall and I have sciatica, the work well, support is great, you will have to adjust to your own comfort, price is great mobility it good, light weight but sturdy, the grip is good

These are comfortable, and a good value. They are however a bit difficult to adjust the height. The telescoping crutches adjust in and out and are held in place with plastic snap rings that must be removed and replaced for adjustments. I had difficulty doing this and the first time I tried, the ring unexpectantly went flying across the room. Be careful to put your hand on the backside while pushing the clip off with the other ,or just aim it at the couch. Thankfully I didn't break anything or hurt anyone on my first attempt.

I purchased these for a friend who’s dependent on these forearm crutches. She had recently been at the hospital for a procedure, and after that procedure, the staff had forgotten to hand her the one crutch. She’s on disability, and a limited income. The hospital was a good 3 hour drive from where she lives and couldn’t go back for it. It’s like breaking in a new pair of shoes for her. She uses the new pair a few hours at a time. She Loves them, they are comfortable, and especially likes the convenient reflectors on both the front and the back of each crutch. I thought they were reasonably priced. And well manufactured.

When I received the initial order one of the forearm crutches had been badly bent during shipping. I contacted Amazon Customer Service and received a replacement set THE NEXT DAY. Amazon Customer Service also arranged for the damaged pair to be picked up by UPS and returned. These forearm crutches are a quality product. Easy to adjust the height. Very sturdy. I weigh 200 pounds and they easily support my weight as I use them to walk. The hand grips and forearm cuffs are comfortable allowing for extended use. I chose the black and silver color option. They are aesthetically pleasant to look at. The reflectors on the back of the cuffs and end of the hand grips will enhance my safety by allowing me to be more visible in low light conditions.

Great quality for price, much better than traditional US crutches. Only reason for 3 starts is mine were clearly used - the bottoms were blackened and they were a little scuffed (also they were taken out of their bags in the box).

The crutches keep dropping on me as the underarm brackets are far to wide.

I am using these because of arthritis and these have been a lifesaver. They are very stable, easy to use right away (if you've never used crutches before, they usually take some getting used to) and the workmanship is excellent.
