Chlorella Pure Micro-Algae 500mg - 100 Tablets

I purchased this product, as I have a history of having an abundance of aluminum in my body in childhood - unknown as to why - and Chlorella is known to bind heavy metals in the body, allowing them to be excreted more effectively. But this small, green algae is also believed to have a number of other health benefits as well, such as bolstering the immune system and being healthy probiotic - which was unknown to me until recently.I've been taking this product for a few of months, so I can't yet speak to any benefits of regarding heavy metal removal, but I have confidence that it is improving my overall immune system. In a year with the worst flu season in over 80 years, our family has had sickness continuously since Thanksgiving, and the vast majority of my co-workers have missed work due to the flu. I, on the other hand, have not had any symptoms, which I attribute - at least in part - to taking Chlorella. Usually, I'm among the first to come down with the latest flu/cold strain.I take (chew - another health issue) the 2 recommended tablets per day with water. While it isn't a flavor that I would ever crave, it really doesn't taste all that bad. It is definitely "green", but not bitter. To me, it's a small sacrifice for improved health.I am happy with this product, and will continue taking this product with the hope that it continues to elevate my immune system, and would recommend it to others looking for the same health benefits that it can deliver.

I started taking this hoping it would give me an energy boost because I suffer with several auto-immune disorders, and CME, and I've tried everything. I had been taking spirulina - it didn't help, but I wanted to finish what I had, but then I read it wasn't good for me to take, but that Chlorella would help with the overwhelming fatigue I suffer with every day.Unfortunately, this isn't really doing much for me, but I'll keep taking it, and hope for a change. I'm sure it's NOT the Chlorella, I'm sure it's me because of all the things I've tried to no avail!Until then I will keep searching and hoping for something that will bring me back to life!

I started taking the Chlorella due to a recommendation on eating more superfoods. I added several, one at a time, so I could gauge their effectiveness or any side effects. I had a terrible itch for almost a year and had been to my doctor and a dermatologist who could find nothing wrong with me. Finally they put me on the steroid prednisone. If you've ever been on a steroid, you know the awful side effects. After taking the Chlorella for about 3 weeks, the itching stopped and I was able to get off the steroids and am still off them. I don't know what it was in the Chlorella that stopped the itching, but I take it every day now, and I chose this brand because of the price and consistency. As a superfood, I give it a big thumbs up!

I usually purchase Now brand Chlorella, but it was not available for a good price. That is why I bought this Source naturals Chlorella. It seemed to be just like the Now brand tablets. Easy going down because the tablets are smooth. The taste is fine. I only bought this bottle to get me by until I could get the Now brand for a good price (which I did). I probably won't buy this again, but it is no reflection of the product itself. I take many vitamins and supplements, and many of those supplements are Sourse naturals (and I always repeat order them). I am just so used to my Now brand Chlorella, which has more tablets than this one does. I feel it is a better value.

Benefits are great but the tabs are tough to swallow. I think because of the shape of the tablet, it gets caught in my throat, I always need to make sure I take with plenty of fluids.

I bought this to use with spirulina. I easily finished the bottle of spirulina but having a hard time with this. It leaves a weird taste in my mouth after taking it plus I dont notice any difference like I do with spirulina. I will try to finish the bottle and see if my opinion changes.

When I first started taking this Chlorella I thought it was fantastic. Unfortunately, after taking it for a couple weeks I had severe stomach pain within 30 minutes of taking the Chlorella. When I say severe, I mean feeling like I might need to go to the hospital because my insides were going to explode. It was SO painful! Of course, the first time that happened I assumed it must have been something else causing such a reaction. I waited a couple weeks and tried again. This time I also enlisted my husband to be a guinea pig too. We took the Chlorella and BOOM! He had severe stomach pain and diarrhea. I had the same extreme stomach pain as the first episode. I looked up online to see if anyone else has had issues with Chlorella and turns out that our reaction is fairly common. I will not take this again.

You get what you pay for. For me, I was expecting too much from these. I will not be buying again for the benefits are not there for me. Lol. I was expecting a general sense of well being. A bit of a waste purchase for me
