How do you set the code???

On the inside of the keypad is a piece of plastic like a credit card. Remove this. On the edge it is shaped like a screwdriver blade. Use this to rotate a dial behind each push button on the inside to set your code. Hope this helps.

If you mean your key, you will punch in the code you will choose and press button. Code can be changed with instructions provided. If you mean the lock box, you have to open using your code and screws attaching box to wall are inside. It seems of very sturdy material.

I forgot the code. How do I open the box?

This is a mechanical lock. There is no secret passcode. also, this is a cast metal box. You will destroy it in some fashion or another. You can try a very slender chisel and a hammer but you will not be able to reuse the lockbox. Fortunately, they are not that expensive - about $30. You can also try different combinations of numbers - they do not have to be entered sequentially. Example "1234" is the same as "4321". They are usually 4 digit codes (not high security but enough). Good Luck (I've been there).
