The first time I got this product I got the dark, and it was a typical self tan bronze. I loved that it was non greasy (though a little ity bit tacky) and I can go about my day as normal. Let's bring on in the morning and rinse it off in the afternoon or at night. This time I got the ultra dark. That was basing this product of previous experience, and I was not mentally equipped to handle the results. Which isn't really a bad thing, I just wasn't expecting "ultra dark". You know how you get yourself Tanner that's the darkest you can get but it's not really THAT dark. That. That's what I was expecting. I spritz myself midmorning out of boredom and ended up sleeping in it. Whoops. Normally fine. I woke up and did my morning routine... Looked in the mirror and died. She dark. Once I showered it smoothed out a bit but the color remained. I was mentally prepared for a typical bronze not body builder brown. Again, not a bad thing when a product works as it should, but not what I was prepared to handle when I had things going on that morning. I did my best to scrub joint and feet with the exfoliating washcloth and a pumice stone, and it helped mildly. I dressed in pants and threw on a jacket, it typically takes 2-3 days of breaking in the tan for it it look more natural. Now it's a "typical" bronze color straight out the bottle. Still dark but blended... If that make sense. I am prepared now and have elevated my expectations of self tanner. I love it. Definitely moisturize beforehand, I also skip this step and I've learned the importance... 10/10 recommend but be advised that she works as she should and if you're used to other self tanners then this will leave you surprised.

I’ve been self tanning for years. I’ve tried allllllll of the tans. Even the most expensive. The issue I always have with them is that they stain/go super dark on any blemish on your face. They stick to pores and just leave you looking kinda gnarly the first couple days after application This tan is a miracle worker for the face. And I’ve even used it in the am under makeup in the morning and by the time I wash my face at night, my face has even colour. It does NOT stick to pores and does NOT go darker on any blemishes!!!!!! I tried it on my body but I’m not a fan of using clear self tan because you really can’t tell if you missed a spot. I just use this for my face and it lasts forever!

Ok so this works amazing. It is even and nice color and stays on forever but....make sure and be very careful on your feet and also take off when your supposed to. I left it overnight like I do my other stuff and omg the next day my feet were way too dark and I literally can't get it off. The color on my body was awesome it was just my feet that had gotten too much.

I’ve trialed & errored quite a few tanning products in my years, from all price points, and can finally say I found one I’m going to stick with. This tanning water is easy to use, hard to mess up, beautiful to build up color with, & the color is a beautiful bronze that makes you look like you came straight off a beach! No orange, no streaks! I definitely see results within an hour of use. And as for the smell, which is always the deal breaker for most products— I’ll just say it definitely exists but it’s not overwhelmingly bad or powerful at all and that’s coming from someone who regularly gets migraines.

If I could leave 0 stars for this I would. I exfoliated and prepped my skin and did all the things you're supposed to do. This left me orange, smelled terribly of self tanner the next day AFTER rinsing it off. Not to mention it was sticky feeling even hours after application. I hate this product. The only good thing for me is that it didn't develop "extra dark" like it claims, and instead is about a medium shade.

This product is Amazing and really does work !!! Best one on the Market!!!!

Definitely works in a few hours. I wouldn't leave it on overnight or it gets too blotchy. Also, the ingredients are not amazing for you, I would recommend looking into them and determining if this is the right purchase for you. Can appear a big orangey on fair skin. VERY stinky and will stain your clothes.

I’ve been through so many self tanners and this is the best by far. While it will rub off to some extent (only if you’re sweating or wearing crispy white clothing) it’s honestly pretty transfer free. I never see any color on my sheets. Also smells less strong than other tanners. It lasts for a while and gives a great deep color, just be careful to avoid ankles, knees, and elbows lol. I use moisturizer in those areas and don’t apply any there. All in all my fav self tanner, great value for the price!
