Bestar Edge 60-inch Full Murphy Bed in White, Space-Saving Wall Bed for Guest Room or Multipurpose Home Office

OK. Just wanted to write a review for this bed. I am 73 years old and 2 of my older grandsons came over to put the bed together. I can honestly say it is very well made and goes together beautifully. The trim is well cut and looks great. It is very sturdy and well made. It took us a total of 6 hours to complete. It is best to mount it to the studs as directed. It took 3 weeks from my order to receive but it was worth it.

This bed is a very good space saving solution. I managed to put it together mostly by myself, except for attaching the steel bed frame to the cabinet. The instructions aren't perfect, but they're pretty good. Not all necessary holes were pre-drilled. I'm pretty handy, and experienced in furniture assembly, but if I could do it all over again, I would hire professional assemblers, and installers. It took me two full days to assemble. Be warned: The package does not include wall-mounting hardware. I imagine this is due to the manufacturer not wanting liability should a consumer not mount the cabinet properly. I purchased and used 3.5 inch lag bolts for wall-mounting. If you're going to do it yourself, make sure you have a drill, long drill bits, metric hex driver bits, phillips driver bits, and an assistant. Good luck, and take your time.

Incredibly difficult to assemble. The home service cost was not referred to as the estimate it was. Assembly cost much more. The bed is very basic ...hardware inside exposed and outside screws don't all have covers . Pieces arrived broken and am waiting for replacements. It's not worth all the hassle.

Boards were damaged but I needed it done quickly for guests. Takes time to build. I wish there was a rebate for damages done to boards but I'm still figuring it out.
