. . . you start with San Marzano canned tomatoes, of course.  So if you're buying sauce, well it only makes sense.  All bottled sauces suffer from losing the fresh flavor of the garlic, but you can cure that easy enough, and this is the best bottled sauce I've ever used.  Basically it just makes the process a bit quicker.  Note this Arrabiatta sauce is particularly good with the slight bite of red pepper.  It's all I use.
