Genuine Fred, FOOD FACE, Ceramic Activity Plate White 8.5 inch diameter

I bought this as a gift for a girl’s first birthday. It was a hit. It makes eating fun and engaging. My son had the boy version since he was one. We still have it 9 years later. This is a great gift idea or as a keepsake too to pass down.

I like to eat, and so do my friends. Why not make it a little more fun. You should buy these plates, make some food and post your creations on facebook and twitter. They are like a happy friend who says "don't leave me bald, have some more garlic mashed". Cooking for that special someone? maybe they are missing all your subtle clues and suggestive hints.You would not believe how truly easy it is to make these plates anything from cute and suggestive to down right filthy. have trouble telling your partner about your special desires? hand your loved one a plate of yummy food and when they get to the bottom if there is a strip of duct tape over the mouth this plate will say it for you. Also fun for kids ...but not in the way described above cuz that would just be sick.

I'm currently on this kick to get all the plastics kitchen ware out of our house. It is very difficult to find children's china or stoneware dinner ware. Everything seems to be plastic or melamine which is not microwave safe... I find that terribly inconvenient. Don't toddlers eat warm food too? I was excited to find this and thought it'd be great fun for him. I like dressing Fred's face up when I serve my son dinner. It's great fun and turns mealtime into a bit more than just carrots and peas! The only disappointment is that it is rather heavy. I allow my son to help us clear the table and he sometimes has a hard time carrying his plate to the sink because it's so heavy. Sort of pricey too although I guess it's more of a gift item than something you'd buy more than one of.

This is the cutest plate ever...and it takes me back to my youth when I would try to build a beard and put hair on his head with the magnet wand over the plastic cover containing all those little shards of black metal...Remember??? Now, I get to play when creating my grandson's dinner plate, and watch him laugh as he sees what I've done with his mashed potatoes, corn and meatloaf!! Then he has fun creating his own designs as well!! The plate is very well made, in fact I thought it was plastic or melamine but it's actually a very nice ceramic!! I highly recommend this plate if you are looking for a little humor at meal time.

My rating for the plate itself is 5 stars, it is cute, thick, and very sturdy. My 3 year old loves it!! I wish I had read the description better because like many reviewers stated I thought it was for more than one plate. I also didn't read the reviews before buying this either which would have also helped me to understand it was only one plate, not a set. So quality wise I would give it 5 stars, price wise I give it 4 stars. It's a little too expensive in my opinion for one plate.

I haven't used this because it's a gift, but I opened it up upon arrival (I ordered both the boy and girl face for my best friend's two kids). They are simple but genius. The pictures of the boy and girl are slightly different from each other, but not by much (the girl has slightly different eyebrows, more puckered lips, and more eyelashes). The quality seems great, a real plate. I think it's a great idea to give to kids on a special day or just as a treat to use. I'm sure that my friend and her husband will be playing with their food on these plates also! The box claims them to be dishwasher safe, though I can't comment on that since I'm gifting them. It came well wrapped, tight in the box. I think the price $10 is great for a fun gift that encourages creativity!

I love this plate. It’s nice to have a glass kids plate so they’re not exposed to so much plastic. My son also dropped it on our tile floor trying to get pancakes off the counter and it didn’t break. It’s a fun idea to get your picky eaters to want to touch their food. Believe it or not it’s good to let your kids play with their food!! My kids don’t really care about it but I have fun with it. One day they’ll like eating, right?! I want to get the girl version as well. I got this one on sale so I’ll wait for it to go on sale again before purchasing. :)

I am not a pintest Mom and this plate gave me hopes of becoming at least one for a few minutes each evening. But alas I am still just your average Mom with Little to no creative plate making skills. Either way my kid likes having a face on her plate and plays with her food or makes a story to go along with the face (her friend). Plate is ceramic and after using once per week for a few weeks now, the glazed face has not scratched or shown signs of wear. It’s a well made study plate.

Nachdem ich 2 Kinder (2 und 3) habe, die nicht unbedingt zu den guten Essern gehören und zudem dauernd nörgelten, habe ich mir 2 Teller bestellt (einen fürs Mädel, einen für den Bub) und bin froh, dass ich dies getan habe! Die Kinder sind total begeistert von den Tellern. Ich kann mit wenig Mühe wunderschöne Gesichter zaubern, die Kinder kommentieren jedes Gesicht und essen demnach auch mehr und dies, ohne groß zu murren (natürlich sind es keine Zauberteller, Pilze zB. werden nach wie vor verschmäht, da nützt auch der schönste Teller nix :D) Aber alles in allem eine lohnende Anschaffung meiner Meinung nach. Auch der Preis ist gerechtfertigt.

Great gift

I bought this for my toddler son, not realising that this was Ms Food Face, rather than Mr Food Face. Will this lead to gender confusion in later years? Who knows, I'll keep you posted. Will it in fact trigger random acts of cannibalism when someone in close proximity accidentally gets some food stuck to their cheek, and I have to pull him off as he tries to eat their face?? Only time will tell... In the meantime, the plate itself is great - it's stood up to a good amount of getting bashed around without chipping, and a regular dunking in both the sink and the dishwasher. Despite this, Ms Food Face has said nothing. Not a word. Good for you Ms Food Face - I respect your stoicism.

El diseño es perfecto, les ayuda a crear platos divertidos. La edad en la que se ha de jugar con estos platos para que coman verduras no es una edad para un plato que se rompe , debería ser de plástico o nuevos materiales que existen actualmente pero que no se rompan

Me hubiera encantado que fuera de un material más resistente, ya que es de cerámica y se rompe fácilmente, no apto para los más pequeños. Sería muy divertido que existiera el mismo plato pero de un material más resistente
