I do a lot of metal work so I quench in water briefly and I'm sick of pliers seizing on me** A: 3-in-1 oil, wd-40, p-b blaster, liquid wrench, or like penitrants will work to keep them from siezing and rusting if you put it on as soon as you open up the packaging of the pliers. I do this for every single pliers I get or purchase. To prevent this from happening. **Q: Do these cut acsr** A: I have not personally cut acsr with them. Though they are strong, and ive cut through and twisted multiple 12/2 electrical wire at once, i wouldnt recommend them for acsr.
