10.9 Inch iPad Air 5th Generation Case, 2020 iPad Air 4 Cases with Pencil Holder

I purchased a new M2 iPad Air for a couple of overseas trips that I was planning on taking. I had gotten another case but it had the front cover becomes a triangle for a stand thing and it just didn't quite work well enough as the iPad kept tipping over. Annoying. So I returned it and after looking around Amazon for a bit ran into this one. It's relatively inexpensive and had a few good reviews so what the heck lemme try it out. Turns out it's way more solid than I was expecting. It has great protection for the iPad itself, fits perfectly. It has a great cut out for the power button that doubles as the fingerprint reader, the other one didn't really so it was a pain to use the fingerprint function. The front cover has indentations so you can angle the screen appropriately. On the back you have an elastic strap that you can use for your hand to grip so its' attached to your hand. The cover itself is perfect, and has its' own elastic band to help keep it closed when not in use. Internally it has a space for the Apple pencil if you use it (I personally don't), and I believe it'll let you charge it while inside. The rubber buttons on the outside to control the volume also work perfectly, and you have more than enough space for the speaker grills and the charging port. The quality itself is pretty dang good. While I don't think it's actual leather it's close enough that I actually started to question if it was or not. It seems sturdy enough and overall really happy with this case/cover. I'll be going to England later this year from Orlando, so we'll see how it fares. Otherwise, very recommended!

I’ve tried a lot of iPad cases over the years—some look great but feel cheap, others are bulky and dull. But this one from HFcoupe really surprised me. It feels premium right out of the box. The fit for my iPad Air M2 is spot on, the texture feels smooth but grippy (no fingerprints!), and the magnet closure is strong without being too stiff. The built-in pencil holder is such a thoughtful touch, and the multiple viewing angles actually work—it doesn’t flop or slide like some other folio cases I’ve owned. Bonus points for the lightweight design—it doesn’t add bulk, which I appreciate since I use my iPad on the go every day for work and content. I’m constantly trying new tech gear for daily use—definitely open to trying more smart, compact designs.

Nice quality. Should provide good hold and protection. Note: iPad will be a little difficult to fit into case. Tight fit. I’m not concerned with it falling out.

I like many aspects of this HP COUPE iPad Air Generation case. It fully covers the iPad and is designed to offer Drop Protection and I’m sure it does that job very well once the elastic strap goes over the cover. Having used the iPad with its cover on, it is the weight of the cover flap that is responsible for it closing. Which is why the black elastic band is required to hold the cover securely and I wonder how long the elastic will last without stretching. I wish it was designed with a magnetic catch which would secure it much better than always having to put the elastic band over the closure. It looks smart and I like it a lot. However, I find it very heavy, it weighs 14.9 oz so with the iPad weighing 16.9 oz one is carrying 31.3 oz, nearly 2 lbs. The 2014 iPad it replace had an Apple case which only weighed 5.4 oz. So one only had to carry 22.2 oz. Nearly 10 oz less and in a carry-on case to the plane, it surely makes a noticeable difference. I wish this case had a magnetic closure which is mentioned in the Auto Sleep/ Wake mentioned in the synopsis.” The new 2022 cover for IPad Air 5th Generation has a built -in magnet. It doesn’t !!! It is a recommendation I hope will be noted for future cases. Already the HP COUPE Case looks top of the range so why not reduce the weight and use built-in magnets to give the user 100% satisfaction. My Apple case is still functioning very well. I just wish the new iPad fits in that case.

I am so glad I bought this for my iPad. It’s a good quality and versatile iPad case. Great item had a good price.

This HFcoupe Case for iPad Air (4th Gen) fits perfectly - all the button cut-outs and speaker holes align as does the storage space for my Apple Pencil. I can adjust the standing angle of my iPad 3 ways with this folio case. The only drawback is that it only angles my iPad horizontally - I wish it could swivel for the vertical position as well because some apps are only available upright. However, it looks like leather and is tastefully designed - the material is exquisite and the stitching is straight and even. It’s a good quality case that I expect will last a long time and I’m pleased to have it. 👍👍

This is a great case for an iPadAir. The iPad fits into a substantial rubber/plastic frame that should protect it from any drops or reasonable mishaps. There is a perfectly sized slot next to the iPad which holds your Apple pencil in place and charging when it is not in use. The appearance is very neat and attractive with even stitching. The openings for the charger, camera and buttons are centered. This level support does have a bit of a price, the unit is a bit heavier than my old case, but with the iPad and pencil installed, it still comes in at a bit under 2 pounds. All in all, this is exactly what I wanted in a case for my new iPad Air. This is a real review, I did not receive anything for making it.
